I love Trolling Players in Windtrace 2024
Windtrace is a limited event gamemode in Genshin Impact allows players to hide and seek or like playing prop hunting. In version 4.6, wintrace is back with new features and prevent players to afk the entire game by hiding in unreachable or secret spot.

just so you know, in the ruins map the area below the machine has water and you CAN see the wet effect from above
I always pick Imprisoning Curse as a hunter for the exact same reason lol. Even went as far as play Charlotte and had Furina as the last rebel. Of course I bombarded her with questions for the ENTIRE duration.
windtrace is great, but would be better if a simple hide and seek.
still, in genshin, i'd prefer a true pvp over any pvp mini game. it's a game where we fight tons of ennemies. they could simply use the excuse of a sparring match to make duels. as for newbies vs veteran, they could simply use the world level to judge if a player can fight another. i wouldn't do it nonstop, but in a temporary event? sure, i'm in. plus, even if we lose one could learn a thing or 2 about it. if they face a char they own, they might be interested in their opponent's build. likewise, they might reconsider how they saw their opponent's char and start using it as well.
if anything, they might even do a pvpve, where players try killing more mobs then their opponents. i'd prefer that anytime to, say that pvp mini game we got during the last lantern rite.
i see there is a time between u appear in the jail and the time the jail shut i try to get fast enough to escape but as always we can't repair machines…
