Genshin impact isn't related to the Honkai universe, only Honkai: Star Rail and Honkai Impact 3rd are connected. The developers revealed this, so characters like Raiden Ei does not have any connection at all, because Genshin impact is just their own universe.
Its not just specifically these two. Its the whole game in general. All hoyo games always have some sort of connection with each other, another example is Himeko from HI3, HSR Himeko, and possibly the pyro archon murata in genshin.
And now I have a theory. Raiden from Genshin was excepted only those, who shared her idea of eternity. And Acheron from Honkai SR is more powerful in gameplay, when you have characters, that are the same path as her. Does anyone see a sort of connection here?
They are in the same imaginary tree each universe as its own leaf somewhat connected but not like parallel universe thou welt from hi3 have travelled with void archives to hsr universe both have honkai in their name but hsr haven't revealed that there is honkai in them… And Acheron, Mei, Ei are similar in terms of sword element and power… But Acheron and Mei(Origin herrscher form) Ultimate is much more similar than Ei
