  1. Yesterday I watched a short video about Mexica mythology (Aztec term is incorrect) and it reminded me the meaning of “Surtalogi”

It’s about the origin of their main god: Huitzilopochtli or "Left-Handed Hummingbird" is the god of war, solar devotion and patron of the Mexica.
When he was born, fought their 400 siblings and his older sister in defense of he and his mother (she is also worth investigating), with the most powerful weapon of mexica gods described as a “fire snake” called Xuihcóatl that’s fits with the term of a dragon

In mesoamerica the term dragon doesn’t exist but they have beings who fits the bill, also they make differences between snakes and “powerful and divine” snakes.
We can say the dragons equivalents of the prehispanic era are like somewhat as the asian dragons

Idk if it’s helpful but as a mexican I found it interesting and wanted to point out

    Edit:
    About the mother in resume:

The myth of Coatlicue For the Nahua world, duality was of great importance. Therefore, many deities represent two extremes of the same idea. Coatlicue is no exception. She is the mother goddess who on the one hand is the fertile earth and on the other is also the death that consumes every living being.

Coatlicue is the Mexica deity of earth and fertility. She is the mother goddess of Huitzilopochtli, god who represents the sun, and Coyolxauhqui, goddess who represents the moon. Always carved with a skirt made of snakes and hands in the shape of claws, Coatlicue is the deity who gives rise to life and consumes the dead.

According to pre-Hispanic myth, Coatlicue is the mother of 400 children who would later become stars and she also gave birth to Coyolxauhqui. One day, the goddess was cleaning Coatepec (or snake hill) when a feather miraculously fertilized her and the god Huitzilopochtli began to grow in her womb. The moment Coyolxauhqui and his brothers found out that their mother was pregnant again, they organized themselves with the aim of murdering her. What they did not expect is that the youngest son would be a warrior. As soon as she came out of Coatlicue's womb, Huitzilopochtli defended her, murdering her brothers and dismembering her sister, who ended up becoming the night stars: the moon and the stars.

  2. Ahh the Shattered Halberd Dain, nice to know he is the sword Kaeya's grandpa was hiding all along. It makes the interaction between Dain and Kaeya even more sus from Caribert quest, almost like Dain started Kaeya down his path towards destiny…

  3. While these theories are entertaining, I always take them with a grain of salt. There’s far too many inconsistencies in Genshin to try and predict it’s most profound story. It’s mostly the introduction of all these god-like powerful beings, non of which share the same goal, which is odd considering.

  4. This theory is strong. I was digging into the "Record of Jueyun" and I found something intersting of note. That the Seelie may not have been a race, but more like the Pari and are fragements of the Pale Princess.

  5. Oh oh! someone finally talk about kaeya!

You don't know how happy I am when you mentioned him along with night mother, I've been speculating him since the veruliyam event and guessing that he might straight up lying about what he said in the caribert quest (read his character story 4), and since then things gone wrong (good) so quickly for me

I've been meaning to write comments under your video but I refrain, I've been very kaeya centric about whole thing with genshin so I wonder if people consider checking kaeya back especially he's the one who referencing shakespeare right before fontaine

I can't wait for your next video!

  6. I don't trust Aether either, I would rather trust myself, Lumine. I would say everybody is wrong in some way and you can trust only your own judgement. I just hope I can have it such that at some point I no longer have to see my brothers awful fashion ever again.
