I would prefer videos were combined. Half talking about situations worth considering pulling for baizhu aka benefits over other alternatives. and half talking about situation he might not be worth it.
Hi ! I would love to get some advices regarding Baizhu on burgeon comp (which is pretty much my only reason for pulling him instead of saving)
I want to play him as a second dendro for a Nahida/Childe/Thomas/Baizhu comp. This team is really great in multitarget thanks to Childe’s wonderful hydro application but there is two problems that Baizhu might be able to solve ^^ 1) Childe applie to much hydro évent for nahida to keep up and because of the way her E work, once her dendro is washed up, the team damages fall of a ton. This can be solved by adding another element (tried electro and a second pyro and its work way better. The better choice from mu testings are the seconds dendro) thats why i hope that Baizhu could do the same but i have some concerns regarding his AOE
2) this team dies a lot because of no healer most of the time. Zhongli is okay but is a dps loss compaired to a sub dps or second seed maker. Im confident regarding this point but i’d like to know your thought since no one talk about Childe + Thomas burgeon
his off field healing and shielding utility will be amazing for Cyno especially if the player has C2 Nahida or Cyno's weapon. Baizhu is going to fill the niche of Dendro MC or YaoYao since he can't really compete with Nahida in dendro application or the buffs he provides.

This banner drought really suuuucks for me. They keep putting 4* characters on banners that I don't want to pull on. Last pulled for C1 Shenhe and tried a few single-pulls for a Layla, but ofc got another Lion's Roar and C1 Dori before ceasing. It looks like Fontaine really will be my next pull. Guess no Kaveh nor Layla for me yet. Kirara will likely be on another skip banner. 🙃
"baizhu only performs a little bit better than yaoyao" gets nahida 1shot in the background footage at the same time, showing exactly why you can't measure some parts of baizhu's strengths. 😂
Between Yaoyao and Baizhu on Keqing team, who do you think will be better? Sorry if you already answered that. Yaoyao can use tenacity, but Baizhu's passive buffs aggravate. But he may be burst dependent and have energy problems. I don't know…
So basically, don't pull Baizhu as a replacement for Nahida. Yeah, that makes sense. Nahida is pretty much irreplacable as an applicator in teams that require massive dendro application.
It seems his best teams as the sole dendro applicator will be aggravate teams utilizing VV shred, and if he were to be used in quickbloom/Nilou comps, it's best to use him with another dendro unit in the team such as Nahida or DMC.
He's a great addition to electro focused team comps, and while not so amazing for dendro focused team comps, he provides more team options.
I'm conflicted about this, because I heard when Fontaine drops, meta changes to Damage Increase but you must not use Shield, because you must take damage to get the buff. And there Baizhu with his shield generation doesn't fit the requirement.

You assume everyone has kokomi for nilou lol. Baizhu will be pretty good for nilou if paired with nahida.

Baizhu's best in slot team is pretty much
*Nahida
*Cyno
*Xingqiu/Yelan
*Baizhu

Only pull Baizu if your going for Hydro archon.
