The Frankenstein team does look interesting. I don't have Layla though as I have not pulled on this banner so far.
I gotta know if you tried summit shaper with Layla- I have been hypothesizing on how that combo works and hoped I was not the only one. 😅
I’m one of those guys that pulled for the key of khaj-nisut (+66.2% HP at 90) without pulling for nilou. I currently use it for my kuki, but i don’t have a zhongli so was thinking it may be a good time to pull for Layla. Only problem is I didn’t like her VA just like how I didn’t like Kokomi’s even though I liked her character I just would rather not be annoyed while playing.
One question I have is how good is Layla with Yae because one of Yae’s weaknesses is being hit while doing her triple skill and Layla’s shield gains stars after a character uses elemental skill. Sounds like a perfect match although I’m not a huge fan of the super conduct reaction for Yae specific teams.

It has been 1 year and 6 months since we last saw SSS+. It's an older meme, but it checks out.

Keep in mind people, that Layla is just not the best for THIS ABYSS cycle. We haven't seen Rifthounds or the Enka enemies in forever so I highly doubt they'll stick around. Her being "bad" for this abyss is not the same as her being "bad" in general. She gives a crazy strong shield at c0 even stronger with constellations, she gives off field cryo much better than diona, and can wield tenacity in a very good manner. She's a great character overall, and I feel she'll get much more mileage once we get out of abyss cycles that punish no healing/enka enemies. So have no fear! I've seen some crazy builds using shenhe with her as well so there's many many ways to play her.
So getting fat.
"SSS" Tier, bet slot of people would love to know WHY!? I personally don't have any use/need for her.
I've got C1 Layla with 45K HP on HP% Key sword, triple HP% on artifacts, 2 pc Tenacity and 2 pc Emblem because I like the stats over my 4 pc Tenacity pieces, and I ascended her to level 90 to get her shield up to level 9 (potentially crowning in the future), she is absolutely cracked holyy. i was nervous because I use C6 Diona for shield and heals in abyss and the 2 things i was missing out on with exchanging Diona was heals and 200 EM from her burst- but Layla completely covers that with Key giving my team around 100 EM that is constant is her stars hit because for Diona 200EM you need to stay in the burst circle, and I found I didn't need heals as often in abyss if the shield is just absolutely cracked. I'm absolutely loving Layla so far and because i lost Zhongli 50/50 I didn't use shielders outside of Diona and Thoma since im C6, but Layla's completely changed the game for me and watching these guide videos are great to just learning more about her kit and using her optimally 🙂
There's no Key of Khaj Nisut for Zhong Li Layla can surpass Zhong Li with that weapon.

Building pity for Raiden. At 10 pulls, I got her. She's totally worth to have as one of the shield team.
I built pyro dps Layla with c6 Bennet, Yun Jin, and Sucrose. Using r5 Black Sword and the 4pc Shimenawa set. She can easily hit 20k+ NA. Kazuha can work too instead of Sucrose.
