  1. chinese here,put hot oil into chilly powder is not like this.it must be put one spoon hot oil into chilly power a time with a quick stir,or it will ends like the video with dark color which means it's over cooked.this is one acceptabble flavor in other dishs with deep fried procedure but i'm sure not for this dish.the right way should be looked like red and bright with fresh flavor,also you can search “油泼辣子” as this procedure name to get some videos.love you big chef, appreciate your fancy work and best wishs for you

  3. Gonna try this over the holidays because my mouth has been watering for this one in-game since I started playing! Amazing looking dish and thanks for bringing it into reality! Question: do you have an oil recommendation for the base oil? Vegetable oil maybe?

Fun fact: I found the real name of this dish which is called Kou Shui Ji which is a simmered chicken with chili oil sauce I think and yes the chicken is actually brighter in coloration similar to the picture in Genshin. Still if I have to be honest, I prefer this version because it looks more appetizing for me.
