Omg please play more of this. I used to play genshin a ton but I've moved onto tower of fantasy recently. Both are super fun and I would live to see you progress and, hopefully, get better at all the combinations and character builds
Edit: use mouse and keyboard. It is way smoother and there is aim assist for amber

Friendly reminder, what you said about the "level 6" or "rank 6" people need to get to help with the channel is more likely to be the Adventure Rank, not the character level.
Early exploration Genshin is the best. Endgame get a bit stale.
Still, you got a good 50 hours of story and exploration ahead of you, so plenty for a free experience.
I hate this game. Regis makes it somewhat fun, though.
There will probably be a lot of people spreading hate about this game. I don’t want to be one of them, so I will be very clear on my stance regarding it.
I do not like Genshin. It is a good game. However, its popularity has been in significant part responsible for the growing acceptance of predatory monetization models in larger PC and console titles in the western world, and as long as those are created, the amount of effort spent on creating genuinely good games rather than good-enough-to-put-lootboxes-in-and-start-earning games will continue to fall. I am under no illusions that my personal protest in the form of not playing or watching such games will have any impact at all, but for moral reasons I will continue to protest regardless.
The game is a genuinely fun product with good gameplay, and I do dearly love Regis’ content and him as a person, but I am sad to say that this is an avenue down which I will not go.
