  1. I like that you pointed out the divergence in the twins' thinking. It's reminds of the "bond familiar falters and breaks" line from Dain's prophecy. Though this line could probably be about different characters altogether, I personally think the traveler outright saying they don't agree with their sibling's methods and not siding them even though they are family (like Dain thought they would) may be the first sign of their bond "faltering"

  2. It is said that the Cataclysm happened because of Gold sending her creations to Teyvat thus causing destruction.

This made the archons fight in retaliation and even losing so much that victory doesn't even taste as sweet as it should have been (Ei losing her sister and Dvalin getting poisoned are examples of it)

But it is only Gold's creation right? I mean the ruin guards only went on separate ways when there was no longer anyone responsible in controlling them. I also never heard or read of Khaenriah's people itself causing attack to the other nation's citizens.

Dainsleif's lines always pertains to "protecting" Khaenriah which could point that the nation didn't actually meant to attack Teyvat thus them receiving the archon's wrath pushes them on defence instead of offence. Back then there were outside forces causing harm to Khaenriah's citizens which makes the guards, specifically Dainsleif, focus on protecting and escaping the people. There was no time to attack.

Which makes me think. What if Khaenriah was just included in that war accidentally? What if it was only gold who wanted her creation sent to Teyvat but not the whole of Khaenriah itself?

We all know that Celestia is already included in Khaenriah's destruction which tells me that they (Khaenriah) probably WOULD have opposed the heavenly principles but what if Khaenriah didn't meant for it to happen that fast? What if they weren't ready yet? What if it happened prematurely thus leaving them unprepared. Khaenriahn are intelligent people. They know the art of Khemia. They know that no matter how powerful they could be, a god is A god. It is very much unwise to see themselves superior.

I myself won't put it past Celestia to use that time of destruction and chaos to use their archons to destroy a possible threat to their throne.

After all, why not eliminate something before it grows into something powerful enough to over throw them?

So before Khaenriah could even grow into something more powerful, Celestia found the perfect opportunity and reason to destroy the Nation without making themselves look half as evil by connecting them to Gold's creation.

It's like killing two birds with one stone. Stop gold and destroy a powerful nation.

I.. well that's my theory lol.
Please if you don't agree then that's okay! I would definitely want to hear your thoughts in the matter. If there are errors also please tell me so that I would know. Thank you!

  3. Why no one's talking about the Box-like stone in the chasm's maw and the place where the Celestia nail-etc like the one in dragonspine. That's Heavenly Principles' traces there. The Chasm's probably the place where the Liyue Dragon (the earth dragon) died. (Well, vanquished? Maybe it's just sealed in there?)

  4. I feel like the Gods of Celestia are either dead or sealed by the Unknown God; something about her is like an enforcer of the “Divine and Holy Principles” but if that’s her job…what if she’s like Raiden Shogun? Or Scaramouche? At 1st a celestial puppet who now turned on her masters because of her programming? Meaning; the Gods of Celestia in her eyes were becoming weak when in reality they realized/weren’t fond of the Cataclysm and Archon war and maybe someone even brought it up? What’s to say anything in her program isn’t “Make anything, and everyone through space and time follow/submit to the Divine Principles by force…or termination.” And if the wording wasn’t specific…why wouldn’t or rather couldn’t she turn on her masters who in her eyes no longer wanted to follow the holy principles?

  5. Spoiler ahead, from the manga and Mona voice lines

I wonder what this means for Kaeya, wasn't he a spy send by his father from Kanrya to Mondstradt?
That's interesting , it would mean that either 1) he was send away 500 years ago before or during the fall, or 2) Kanrya people still live amongst others in present day, despite the curse, and they are preparing something that required him to become a spy at the time.
I bet that's what Mona meant when she talked about Kaeya's future, maybe he'll have to choose between the abyss order (his people) or the Favonius knight.

Also, it would mean that even cursed people can get a vision OR that unlike his people, Kaeya escaped the curse somehow.

  7. it's confusing whenever "lumine" is mentioned as the abyss twin when i chose her as my protagonist lol. maybe it's better to just say "our twin" or "abyss twin" as to not cause confusion for your viewers.

  8. I personally didn't think that what dainsleif says about the curse being a lifeline hunkering them down to the mortal plane and the curse itself eroding their very being is contradictory

If you look at the lore of shadow husk it is said that "Once upon a time, these were knights of the realm and carriers of significant status. The long years and a curse seems to have robbed them of their reason and memory. Now, all that remains within that armor is the will to "fight for something, someone, and some matter."

So to me it seems like shadowy husk are more akin to living armor than transformed creatures(they could've started as a transformed creature but the erosion melts their mortal body over time), consider Alphonse from full metal alchemist and the curse of immortality as the sigil that Edward painted to tether Alphonse soul to the mortal realm

And by extension this might mean that hilichurls are just a walking hunk of flesh motorized by the memories of their past life

  9. I was under the assumption that 'it' wasn't a physical object, but rather something that the curse stripped from them. My personal guess was 'soul' or perhaps 'humanity'.
After all, if you lack humanity, what does that make you? 'A monster.'

  10. Also I don't think the Fatui and Abyss Order are likely to collaborate. If you wanna know reasons why, I recommend looking up the quest 'A Company Vanishing into the Deep'. Gives us a lot of info on the Fatui footsoldiers' mindsets– but they all seem to believe that the Cataclysm never truly ended and remains an ongoing threat. While Abyss Order prioritizes attacking the Heavenly Principles and restoring Khaenri'ah, Fatui seem to be prioritizing attacking the Heavenly Principles AND the Abyssal Corruption.
