Also, for anyone curious, I'm currently running Ayato, Kokomi, Kazuha, Zhongli. Massive defense / control / buff and shred. I've also ran this with Ganyu instead of Kazuha and that went well too. You may wanna take off the shield or heals; I have disabilities and play very cautiously. Regardless, I love this guy. Tartaglia's gonna be MAD. I wanna keep messing with teams and see what I like best. His lines crack me up.
But one good thing about him his that he has a really simple and smooth gameplay, I would say he is a straight up upgrade to childe for most purposes. The only thing he lacks is a nuke like childe has, but then he is a good hydro applier, both on and off the field.
At level 70 and talent level 6 what are you expecting big numbers ? Lol
I feel like Ayato is going to be a character that’s gonna get better with time. Hydro is a great element and is a core for many team comps.
Tell me who is a "Great" character for you.
Thanks for mentioning this team comp, I keep trying out a bunch of recommended comps but this one obviously sticks out cus it’s got those three in it lol
To get some top tier dmg numbers out of ayato you need super investment, c6 is a large boost to dmg. But screw that I already have top tier DPS. His sister is easily the strongest of the 2, and with Shenhe she's ridiculous. Being balanced is fine but when there is broken options, Probably better to get the most bang for your buck.
In other words he is balance plus he giggle when he glide-
But honestly i have him but i'm still looking for what kind of build to go for- ATK/CRIT/HP/HYDROBONUS? which-
Actually you don't need geo to activate the geo pillars you can hit it with a claymore. I did it with Diluc and no geo in team
Damn content lack so hard that even Valk is going bankrupt
Pulled Venti instead. Ayato was just too underwhelming as far as character design for me. He sister has way more drip and she wrecks the game.
Yelen tho….lol, I am just trying win my 50/50 for Ayaka and get Kazuha, At one point I hope Kazuha is next but at the same time Yelen looks cool, I can 36 abyss so I guess for now it will be whoever looks cool including ablity wise
I regret getting ayato haha spent 20k primo
got ayato today on single wishing pity 26 put him with yae and ei, i'm having a lot of fun I'm also thinking about pairing him with albedo and zhongli and one electro character. he fits everywhere not just the boring meta teams.
As someone who doesnt have childe. I enjoy ayato
I wouldnt say hes OP but i wouldnt say hes bad, Hes fine and very balanced and extremely fun which already makes him a good unit. Hes not a Must Pull but honestly imo no one is a must pull.
It really says a lot about the community when a completely balanced dps character who doesn’t fit into the damage per screenshot mentality is labeled “just ok”
Imagine if Ayato had a more consistent way to Vaporize. 😐
Let's see what kinda reactions dendro will bring.
Maybe Dendro x Hydro will be cracked af.
He's a worse Childe unfortunately. His Ult/Q is very lacking, accounting for <25% of his power budget. And his power budget is already rather low. So off-field support is not useful. So on-field DPS. Vape teams don't work well with him. Taser teams are his best option, but I don't see it being a better option then Sucrose driver, Raiden driver, or Childe driver taser teams. And Childe works better in Vape teams with say XL. At best his an alternative to Childe. Better to save for Yelan IMO.
I just got him because me little cousin wanted to do a pull and I’m surprised by his damage so far he’s only level 50 with level 2 talents and he’s slapping mobs in inazoma for 3-5 k a pop
im glad. i like units that aren't op but also aren't broken 🙂
Soo… Same level as diluc?
I had a Tartalia build but I still went for him because I love his elemental skill and burst. He feels relly comfy to play and even the damage he deals is fine.
Now that he's fully built, I really do think he's better than just being balanced. I think people really undervalue attack speed and over value damage per screenshot. He can do about 3 or 4 normal attacks in the time Ganyu shoots one charge shot including the bloom damage. An average F2P Ganyu would do around 10k charge + 20k bloom damage. So 30k per hit. An Ayato of equal investment might hit 8-12k per auto. Assuming an average of 10k, he's doing 30-40k in the same amount of time. I've seen C0 Harbinger of Dawn Ayato hit harder than this. His normal attacks not only being very quick but also having a huge AOE make him a very unique character. This isn't taking in buffs and reaction damage either. Let's remember that one of the most broken team comps in the game is an electro-charged team and the numbers in electro charged really do look like crap, but enemies drop left and right. It's because electro-charged does huge amounts of chip damage. Those numbers add up. His damage per screenshot seems weak but his damage per second says otherwise.
