when you get goro c4 id advice getting a healing% artifact that has high def substat.. trust me, it works wounders.
Is doing a walnut team with albedo and goru hu tao and xingqiu a bad idea i just don't know even without the geo dmg he really boosted albedo's dmg

Gorou is insane as a support on mono geo team but I personally like him a lot and that is why I wasted 150 wishes just for him ;-;
Question I just got albedo and I don't know wheather I should get gurou or not. Should I get gurou? And should I level my albedo? I don't use any other geo characters and I'm not planning to get itto so I'm pretty conflicted here 🙁

Full geo is unnecessary because his boost automatically counts him as a geo member. All you need are 3.
Through trial and error I've come to the conclusion that a 3 geo + electro Traveler comp works wonderfully. My team comp for this is:
* Noelle/Itto – Main DPS
* Gorou – Buffer
* Zhongli – Shielder
* E.Traveler – Battery
This frees up even more cheap resources for Gorou since E.Traveler takes care of charging both Noelle and the party's burst meter. This does come with the drawback that his recharge isn't optimized as much but still provides more room to maneuver around his artifact sets, especially if you don't have a suitable ER set yet.
Note: This team worked great in the abyss until 12-1 where those pesky dogs kept side-stepping Noelle's burst.

I'm running an Hybrid comp with Hu Tao / Xinqiu / Albedo and Gorou and I find it extremely funny to play, while I wait for Zhongli rerun for the mono geo team to rise in my account.
It's not of course the most synergic team possible, but who fucking cares if it's funny?
I drop huge crits with Hutao vapes while Albedo's flower boosted by Gorou do the rest, and since I had enough luck to pull it a few times his EB heals too.

I am watching this in an attempt to rationalize building him when the truth is the main reason why I will is because he is cute and fluffy
so gorou skill, switch to albedo skill and burst, switch to whatever 4th character you have for skill and burst, switch to itto skill and burst, bonk enemies with itto until you win
I got Gorou pulling singles and I was so happy. I wanted a good support for my Noelle.
dude. those builds suck and you're assuming everyone has c4 gorou. the only one you should use out of those is 4pc noblesse. his best in slot is a 4 pc EXILE set with as much ER and crit rate as you can possibly get him, and a crit rate mask from any 5 star set. don't stack him with damage stuff because he's worthless as a sub dps, just get him to support your other characters as much as you can. i'll still keep using 4pc exile after i'm c4 (currently c3) because i don't really need his healing, but it's only then that you should even considering doing it. honestly most of the time you won't need to boost his healing either, it's not a lot but it's enough on "copium" defense
4pc petra also possibly good depending on stuff.
I love Gorou but they really did him dirty apart from the buffing thing… he should've been able to heal from the start at c0 and have a better healing than what he does at c4 'cause 1,5k of healing with a healing build is kinda sad T-T
