Since many of you requested that I test the performance of the iPhone 13 Pro Max for a longer duration – I decided to re-test with Genshin for 21 minutes. As you all know, Genshin is the most demanding application but very unoptimized, so results could vary with each test. Nevertheless, as usual, I did conduct this test at 25c ambient temperature. There’s a real-time FPS overlay on gameplay, and at the end I’ll be showing charts of FPS, Power Consumption, and Battery Temps. Thanks for watching and make sure to check out the end of this video for conclusive results.

Tech Jargon:
CPU – Central Processing Unit. The processor is the “brain” of a device. It’s what handles the instructions of software apps. All phones have a processor of some kind. it may be integrated into the main cell phone chip, or be a separate computer chip.
GPU – Graphics Processing Unit. The part of a device’s circuitry that handles the display and animation of visual elements. GPU usually handles all mobile gaming.
GeekBench 5 – is a cross-platform benchmark that measures your system’s CPU performance with the press of a button.
3DMark Wild Life Extreme – a more demanding cross-platform benchmark for comparing the graphics performance of mobile computing devices.

Thank you for this video! Are you gonna test low power mode and see if it can go 30 minutes without throttling? That would be amazing.
Great work! Check out our review on our channel tomorrow morning to see yourself 😉
Don’t mess with 13!😊❤️
Btw Congo for 2k
And here is stupid me who thought I should go with ipad pro m1,
I'm just gonna save money buy ipad mini with a15, get keyboard and controller as well as blackshark magnetic cooler this will be plenty enough for me.
nice test. I pre-purchased 13 pro max in korea and i was worried about gaming performance because of throttling, which A14 bionic has. this video helped me a lot
Done Subscribed.i watch all of you video since i found your channel.btw i love your content, completely with had every details.
can i get more details on your ambient temp during playing this game as i think this is one of crucial thing to consider because it can lead to varies outcome
it is bluffing its improvement between its predecessor the iphone 12 pro max and its simply dazzling 😲😲😲
What about britness drop? How soon does it happen?
iPad Pro 2020 A12Z vs iPad Mini 6 , pls do a video on this
Great review with plenty of information. Thank you again bro. 👍
11 pro max vs 12 pro max vs 13 pro max genshin impact test 😊
Just my recommendation but i think you could test it in spiral abyss since you’ll be able to cast more E and Q which creates more graphical effects for the processor to handle. I think this will really push the A15 bionic. Good video as always 👍
I know this is another test, but can you tell is iphone 12 pro still throttling and overheat at ios 15?
Nice test, this is the best phone i ever seen for now
Job well done keep it up Sir ❤ salute
you should turn off background app refresh..you will notice different by how long you play, phone will be less heat than before.😁😁..it trick to avoid overheating in iphone
Nice review! Only some battle scenes with a lot of effects like Ayala's burst the FPS dropped a bit. I think so too that the throttling occurrences could be due to optimisation. Now let's talk Genshin Impact, hopefully you will roll for the rerun of Zhongli because he makes making mistakes on mobile very forgiving. And it's a lot easier to get more stars in abyss with a shield. Anyways good video, this one gives more conclusive evidence on the capabilities of the new A15 Bionic chip! GG!
Which phone would you reccomend playing with on genshin impact over 30mns and at 25/30c weather?
What an awesome video! 4k, 60 FPS HDR 😍 I could just watch it for hours!! Can't understand why top ytubers don't do that.
Bro please try some pubg mobile gameplay also because it supports 90 FPS on iPad and will be soon available on iphone pro
Appreciate your work man 👏👏
can't wait for another content
Hello, may i ask what controller do you use? Thank you🙂
120 hz look phenomenal
Try on your mobile network its worst
Use it with cooler fan & test again please
Thank you for the vedio 🥰
Please do 5 core gpu vs 4 core
nice man
test in in monstadh and other city 😁
That jade cutter sure is flashy 😄
Could you also do a test using the blackshark magnetic cooler on your iphone 13 pro max
i really like your video
Try max out settings?
Can you try CALL OF DUTY MOBILE on IPHONE 13 PRO MAX i just wanna know if it has 120hz on call of duty mobile
Maybe you could use that blackshark cooler for comparison, another 21 mnts test.
For the shorter 11 min test, the iPhone 13 Pro Max averaged a whopping 59 FPS! Very Impressive!

Wow!!!
You don’t have to run with every settings maxxed out. For example, set Shadows to medium or lower. Trust me you will not notice a difference. Does anyone pay attention to shadows? No you are looking at special effects and animations. Shadow effects are notorious for performance drain.
Looked this up cause I just downloaded this game and found it as enjoyable as everyone says so far but I found the menu and decided to check out performance mine was on high by default and when I clicked highest said it was over clocking lol definitely wansnt trying to fry my 13 pro max 😭
Love HDR video!
Can you test under more realistic conditions? Like playing for around 20 mins then plugging it in to charge and keep playing while it's charging? I find doing that the fps and performance stability are much much worse, and I was only playing on high preset with fps cap set to 60. I think iPhone 13 Pro Max thermal design is actually awful, and AnandTech confirms this with the logic board teardown showing how the SoC is sandwiched in the middle and makes no contact with any heat dissipating internal components.
Hope i win a giveaway thanks in advance
Hope to see 120fps coming soon on the iPhone 13
And my brand new Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra throttle the hell out itself after 30seconds, to an extent where the game is unplayable with 5-10 fps for very long periods. Trottling doesn't cease, unless you quit the application. Junk, don't buy 11 Ultra for gaming that's for sure!
