  2. Honestly I dont see the point in this. We've already seen characters get powercrept, like diluc and klee. Hu tao is likely next, but shes still selling really well. Its not like shes gonna be kokomi tier all of a sudden

  3. I think you forgot that you can play around her burst for the healing. You just need another pyro for a bit more energy than usual so you can spam it whenever you need the healing. The introduction of Thoma completely solves the problem since he is the shielder and the battery at the same time.

  4. I don't agree with you calling these things nerfs. There's always going to be strengths and weaknesses for every character (unless you're playing ganyu lol). That's why you're encouraged to build multiple different team comps. It would be boring to use the same op character for every single situation.

  5. Really don't see how adding new enemies to counter a character's playstyle mean Mihoyo's nerfing units. Might as well say pyro slimes nerf Hu Tao cause she can't use skill and burst..

  6. People complains about being forced to build healers, and from the beggining of the game i had to build archers for ruin hunters because they never go down from the sky. Oh and the birds of oceanid. People were complaining about specters but for me they are a joke because i always have an archer. Having a team with variations has been always a part of the game. Partys with only characters that boost damage are for especific enemies as partys with healers, shielders and archers.

Personally huo Tao I would still go for. 2 things that new geo guy coming with garo I don’t need since I have zhongli and the other Ganyu I don’t get me wrong she’s amazing I want her but her play style to me is not that engaging especially since I play on mobile and archer characters are tough to aim

  8. well we have already seen that to a small degree with Venti and the addition of CC immune enemies. I don't think the corrosion effect will ever be so prevalent as to make shields pointless. While there maybe an abyss rotation in a patch or two that doesn't favor Hu Tao, abyss changes pretty often and it likely won't be permanent. Also, they just indirectly buffed her with the addition of Thoma. Pyro resonance, shield, opening a spot up for anemo on the team to VV shred pyro and buff. Basically the damage of an Elegy Amber, Hu Tao team with the survivability of a Hu Tao double geo team.

    Also, the longer you play the game the more character and teams you'll have built so in the long run having to specialize more to the content won't be to bad. Except for newer players. But even then they won't really have to deal with it till end game anyway.

  9. They can't push content that will push out Hu Tao. Current sales data shows her rerun has matched Raiden's sales numbers on just CN sales. They're going to have a shitstorm if they had the CN market whale beyond Raiden for Hu Tao and then push her out of the game.

  10. Imo Magu Genki is their template for anti-Ganyu/ranged dps bosses. The counter/parry mechanic disproportionately punishes using Ganyu's charged shots relative to N1 melee attackers, and being unfreezable makes the Morgana freeze comp a very poor matchup.

  11. Ngl i didnt even notice the corrosion effect of wolves with hutao, she killed them before they could even attack lmao😂😂😂.
    Floor 11 corrosion was hard the wolves one is ok not that noticeable

  12. MiHoYo is known to make characters be both amazing and also craptastic depending on the conditions.

    For players who have no idea about Honkai Impact, this is just apart of meta.

    Honkai really benefits some characters one week, then the next those characters are set to the back burner.

    Currently in Genshin Impact we don't have that yet. Majority of everything can be beat by almost all characters.

    Barbara mains (for example) can take on everything but Hydro enemies that are immune to Hydro.

    Same thing with like, say, Qiqi mains.
    Sure they don't hit as hard as most, but they also have a hard time getting killed (especially if you use a shield like Diona' Zhongli, Noelle, ect.)

    MiHoYo is slowly forcing the players to get as many characters as possible (especially the 4 stars).

    C6 on a 5 star is one thing, but C6 on a 4 star is meant to achieve over a period of a few months to a year.

    Just because you're F2P doesn't mean you're weak, just way slower to progress.

    Just like how us whales complain about lack of content (because we basically one shot everything).

  13. I think it's not looking good for players… in a elemental system like this for each element you want atleast one DPS, one sub DPS, one support.. now if someone force you to have 2 DPS of same element that's not good imo, they should force to having different element or reaction…
