nowadays i just choose 3 weekly boss for whoever farm cus i dont think theres a point to fight every single one, at least for me.
Moon festival isn't the anniversary event, nor are those the anniversary rewards Genshin will have a convention in Shanghai called genshin fes where they will announce anniversary on it's day 28th of September
I'm very excited but also sad because 2.1 means yoimiya banner gone and I haven't gotten her yet😭 also idk if I want kokomi she looks so pretty but I also have every single healer already so… I'm gonna wait till genshin introduce new character officially to decide on her. I'm definitely gonna wish for baal and sara tho
also I haven't done the archon quest or any of the world quests I'm so behind yikes
The anniversary gifts are a joke. Aloy is a sony collaboration and has nothing to do with the anniversary. The same goes for the primogems. Those are just the usual event rewards.
The only anniversary present we get are the 10 wishes…
They are making billions with this game and they can't be more generous?
I wouldn’t count the moochase event as anniversary rewards because we would still be getting 6k primos from the patch anyways
I don't want to be negative Nancy here but aniversary rewards are kind of medicore, just a little more that we would get on normal patch. Some people will probably point out that I shouldn't complain about that since I will get free Aloy (I will get her month after aniversary, but of course I can't also complain about that since she is actually part of collab not aniversary gift) but it really feel like this is kind of reason for this collab timing – so people wouldn't complain about aniversary gifts too much.
I don't know, Patch 2.1 still looks cool just as a new patch but it looks like "3 carrots aniversary gift" memers had a point in the end.
We all know that those two Harbingers who I won't name will definitely become playable no later than 2.6 imo. Allows space for 3 re runs and 2 updates that have new five stars or the other way around if miHoYo plans on having re runs between that time. If no re runs for a while then they could come wayyy sooner.
The rewards for the anniversary are actually pretty generous considering it’s only the first one.

How can you say that the anniversary rewards are good? I just don't get it.
Aloy has nothing to do with the anniversary , it's just a Collab with Sony , separate thing.
From the 20 wishes, 10 are already from the events of the patch , basically what we're already getting in every other patch.
The only reward consists of a 10-pull. The fact that the community considers this generous, blows my fucking mind. Like, Princess Connect gives 100-pulls 3-4 times per year like it's nothing.
And finally, the crystals bonus reset is indeed nice and I can't wait to buy every pack, but giving a big reward only to spenders is just not ok.
With that reset , they basically give the spenders 10480 primos , but also they can't give the f2ps at least 30 pulls ? Really?

On CN people are complaining how bad 1 year anniversary is,the rewards not good enough as 1 year anniversary,so what we get just 10 multiples and what we're got? we got nothing,only playstation player can play aloy first until 2.2 release on all platforms,only fews things are good are baal,free event weapons and new areas to explore,that all what you got mihoyo?
Im just going to say this, as someone who is seen defending MiHoYo most of the time, the anniversary rewards are incredibly underwhelming
First, Aloy isn't actually part of the anniversary, second, one or two free 10 pull on anni just feels like a slap in the face
Sure yeah were getting a bunch of stuff but all of that is to cover how shitty the anniversary rewards really are, its just a 10 pull, lantern rite gave us the same shit
The crystal top-up bonus refresh is a nice addition, but lets be honest here, I don't think even the whales will appreciate this, like the entire community has given MiHoYo millions, and all there saying is "yes give us more"
And for the people that say "be grateful", this is an anniversary, the biggest event a gacha game will have, 10 rolls once again, feels like a slap in the face, we've given them so much too, even a daily login where we get 10 pull per day for a week would be enough
Im not asking for much, and im still satisfied with the stream and all don't get me wrong, but for anniversary rewards, a 10 pull is below minimum

Tbh I’ve been requesting fishing in-game since v.1, so I’m pretty hyped about it. Also, luxurious fishlord is… chefs kiss. Love using those weps and they’re usually not too bad stat-wise either so…

Agree that 6 VA is too much, 2-4 should be the best, however I understood why they invited 6 at the end cuz of the Games they're going to play although like you said, children games. Also I think the idea was for the original cast that started the game (ie, Amber, Kaeya, Jean, Barbara and the Travellers) to come together and celebrate 1 year since launch.

my favorite thing is the story continuation! (pretty pumped for anniversary stuff as well, though i did have more expectations im not exactly disappointed either)
The rewards aren't 'pretty good'. They're embarrassingly low. When Genshin was launched and people complained about resin, y'all were like "It's standard for Gacha games to do that, shut up."
Now that they've given us 10 free pulls, around 20 if you count the events and a free 5 (4) star, I've seen a lot of people saying "This was expected cause of Mihoyo's history of bad rewards."

Think it’s fair to say that Aloy is more of a colab character and not an anniversary character, unfortunately. And, the “Moonchase festival” is hardly any different from any other festival we have had so far, which is so disappointing 🥺☹️. We are basically just getting 1 free 10 pull for this anniversary (don’t come at me about the weapons as we get one each patch already as it is. A second one makes this patch better yes but nothing to write home about)
I think maybe we can get The Catch from the fishing event. The Catch was listed as a new weapon in the trailer but no information about it was discussed in the livestream
