  6. I think the statements "He got the happy ending he deserved/worked so hard for" and players upset that he won't be playable are two things that can exist and it makes me frustrated that people automatically think you didn't understand the choice he made.

    I know there were a ton of players that skipped most Natlan characters because of how cool Capitano looked throughout the Archon quest (as short as his appearances were). Number 1 of all the Fatui Harbingers, he was a Khaenrian that met our sibling other than Dain, there was so much hype around him similar to Arrlechino.
    I kinda knew since the "Mavuika must die" plotline that he was probably going to be the one dying instead, and I'm sad because I feel there's still so much potential and unexplored story with him. All the conflict with Gosoyoth felt so whatever in comparison to those last moments with Ronova and the Lord of Night…Capitano you will always be famous

    -Pretty unhealthy look.
    -Wearing helmet-mask.
    -Wearing fur coat.
    -Holds many spirits of dead.
    -Using ice powers.
    -Using sword.
    -Points blade beside and stands with challenging pose.
    -Sits on throne surrounded in ice.
    -Leans his right hand on frozen sword.
    -Fell asleep on throne.

    Hmh. Maybe will be a playable character… or boss… in Genshin multiplayer game…

  10. Right now, he's in peaceful rest of his life. His immortality is just being combined with the Lord of the Night.
    He may not die as immortality upheld, at least he got the sleep he needs.
    His sacrifice opens the path for the souls of other nation to be accepted in the Night Kingdom.

  12. I already have a bad feeling with Natlan since day one, there will be sacrifice for sure, if not Pyro Archon then the Harbinger. Pyro Archon is too predictable, and so it must be the Harbinger 😭…. I'm still hopping, but it hurts so much ;-;… This is the first time I like genshin character purely on design, and then poof… ;-; Always losing 50/50, and I'm still losing my King ;-;

WELL, I am delusional, so I have a great theory for Capitano: As Capitano, the 1st of the 11 Harbingers, his mission was to get the Gnosis, but he chose to save Natlan, the land where his soldiers and he were welcomed and then giving his life to bring the new Ley Lines to Natlan and saving Mavuika in the process. HOWEVER, this was the own mission of Capitano, Thrain is still a soldier of Khaenri'Ah and few of his people who lived for 500 years are still there, living with the curse of immortality. SO, WITH THIS FACT, CAPITANO WILL RETURNS TO FACE RONOVA AGAIN, BUT NOT FOR HIS REVENGE OR NATLAN, BUT FOR THE OTHER KHAENRI'AHNS WHO ARE STILL CURSED BY DEATH. IN THE END HE WILL FIGHT THE OWN DEATH ONCE MORE AND DEFEAT HER ONCE FOR ALL AND LIVING REST DAYS THRAIN, THE SENTINEL KNIGHT AND A MORTAL HUMAN!

  25. I did not expect to see King Arthas again in my many years of playing Genshin.
    That pose and a heart that can carry souls (instead of a Sword) that can be beneficial to ones strength is so badass.

  26. First off i don't think the souls were screaming in his head regardless of what the angel says. We clearly see that at the end, the souls respected or revered him for what he was doing so I dont think they'd be screaming in his head. Secondly, as for why he couldn't sleep, we know the curse doesn't allow that from past quest.

  29. I think rather removing the curse of immortality that the God of death set upon him I think she only put him in a long coma that would never make him wake up which we can consider it as a "death".

He quite literally got the happiest outcome he could: he was freed from his 500 years torment, saved every single soul he had, became a hero and made sure the Abyss would never return, all while showing the biggest middle finger to the goddess who put him in that situation, we couldn't see through the mask, but i guess we can all agree: he was totally smiling at the end.

  38. Fans are forgetting that Capitano is a cursed Immortal Khaenriahan like Dainsleif & Pierro despite being #1 of Fatui which is what makes him different from Tartaglia ,Scaramouche , Arlecchino & Poor Signora

    If Dainsleif can get playable Then so can Capitano

  39. That's what makes me love the Captain so much . I was mad at first when i learned that he won't be playable but after the Archon quest and watching this video , i totally agree that the Captain shouldn't be playable, he done so much and wasn't able to sleep for the longest time , he deserves a peaceful rest . Rest well , Captain, you will always be my number 1 fatui harbinger, rest well.

  41. What I fail to see is that Ronova was under no obligation to Capitano- she could have still said “Nope, it needs to be Mavuika.” While the so-called paradox was an elegant solution to Natlan’s needs, it doesn’t feel like the ultimate check-mate as it’s framed to be…

  42. There was a meme I saw on youtube that said Frozen Throne. The moment I saw that Arthas the Lich King's theme played in my head with Thrain the Captain on the throne slowly zooming out while that song played.

    The Captain who was cursed with immortality by Ronova used that against her to take Mavuika's place as the price to be paid to save Natlan and restore the leylines that were decimated by the Cataclysm but also used his curse against Ronova making it so the Lord of the Night now merged with Thrain was also immortal. So not only is the Night Kingdom and Natlan's ley lines restored, they will exist for a long time.

    Since the deal between Xbalanque and Ronova was unofficial, would Ronova face the consequences for it when the Heavenly Principles wake up and learns of the deal?

  44. Thrain might've left us and I am upset he probably won't be playable. But he can finally rest in peace he deserves. I admire his actions and everytime I quit genshin I go to the throne of primal fire to pay my respects and I think I'll keep doing that till the end of Genshin Impact because he deserves all the praise and honor.
