  1. about the meta take, i completely disagree, its not just elemental reactions but they could do something like how ZZZ did it with anomaly, element in wuwa serves near 0 purpose, i dont think the excuse of "it makes team less restrictive" works here, if you want an optimal team in genshin, its to make use of elemental reactions (or mono teams), in wuwa its to pair them with specific intro/outtro, if you dont care for building optimal teams, the point doesnt really go to either since you dont care what you are doing anyways

  2. Since release I've been adding to a personal list of things that I feel Wuwa does better than Genshin- currently at 29 items (excluding minor things). I know it's super petty but it came from a place of love- I did really love Genshin since the day it released but the fire has definitely fizzled to a tiny ember now. I'll always have my eye on Genshin in case things get better but so long as they continue to make fat stacks of cash with such a minimum viable product, the chances aren't looking too good.

  3. My main problem with wuthering waves charaters is thst i want them all. only skiped Zhezhi so far kinnda (was not a fan of the game play, loved the design tho) makes it hard to save. Gensin is more skip, skip, skip, pull maybe,

  4. Facts💯 everything that you mentioned from part 1 to part 2 are spot on but for me the only reason I completely stop playing GI is because they don't have skip button. But to be honest I'll pull Mavuika (even though her skills are weird) because I really love Himeko from HI3.

  5. Character Design:
    – Ah yeah, Natlan, the land represent South America, and everyone know South America for their gaming enthusiast and biker gang, amirite?
    – All you need to know about how bad the art direction in Genshin, is to pan the camera around it just to see how unnatural all of them are. They looks like they're staring at my soul.
And for god's sake, whoever design Yae Miko's 3D model, need to be fired. She doesn't scream "mommy" at all, unlike Changli. And from what I heard, people made fun of Itto's six-packs because of how poorly design the shadow in the game is. Those shadows on your characters, they are textures, which is why once again, Itto's muscles were made fun of.

    Character Progression:
    – People love scheduled domain, amirite? Who doesn't love scheduled domain? Oh, and release character on the day that the domain wasn't available, just to piss players off even more.
    – The talented and ascension materials in Genshin are all over the place, or rather, guess words, meaning people will have no choice but to wait for the leak to find them out, just to pre-farm them. Unlike Wuwa where ascension and talented mats are one, and it's very easy to recognize it because 5 of those materials are categorized based on the weapon the character used, so once you know Camellya used sword, you know instantly which materials you need to pre-farm.

    F2P friendliness:
    – You already have one reliable character to explore the over-world. It's Rover. unlike Traveler who is a complete pushover in both gameplay and story, Rover is very good. Not as stellar as other top-tier character, but enough to make the game less hassle.

  6. What I love about Wuthering Waves is that like all the characters are you getting a character? You don’t really have to be afraid of them being power creeped because I mean like obviously everyone has subjective opinion powerful but like you don’t really have to worry about that like you’re not getting a character and then like a next patch, you have to ditch it and wasted all your money like you’re getting good characters in your arm, gonna be worth it for a relatively long period of time and each team is different so you can’t this is my main wanna do something different every character is different in their own way synergy and Arsenal the game really doesn’t force you to pay money like there’s no really big pay like I’ve gotten most of the characters in Wuthering Waves except for like three that I missed because I had surgery, but that was it other than that if I hadn’t had surgery, I would’ve been able to get every single character in the game. I don’t have all the weapons, but I would’ve been able to get every single character so yeah I like the game that really cares about the player based and that have to make changes even if it’s a small train like the only thing that I still annoying with the Wuthering Waves is the team building thing like how you have five team format you can have so you don’t like your first team. Second team and stuff I wish there was more room to make more teams so not like we’re making more like still having the three characters in one team but more deployable team things like instead of five you had like 20 so yeah that’s what I wish they had and I loved

  7. No. Genshin Impact Constellation adds 50% of their revenue, so it is impactful 😘. F2P will now be able to trash Wuwa more because of Hoyo revenues regardless they're cockroaches to Hoyo. How cool was that.

  8. I wud like to mention one specific thing – many character upgrades in Illusive Realms are literally tailor made for them & that completely changes that specific char. I was playing with Calcharo the other day & was in his RL form for the entirety of stages(memory zones) with getting that specific intro at intervals.

That right there is an endgame content done well with it being both fun & difficult.

However, I wud like to mention that both games have 1-2 5* char releases per patch.

    WuWa – 1.0 – 2, 1.1 – 2, 1.2 – 2, 1.3 – 1, 1.4 – 1
    GI – 5.0 – 2, 5.1 – 1, 5.2 – 1 (hadn't played GI before that)
