  1. I don't think the previous Dendro archon is really gone just like part of Raiden Mokoto remained in her domain for a while just to say last goodbye to Ei. They say the previous archon disappeared and just like part of Mokoto in her domain, I think the Dendro archon lives on in the Akasha.

  3. Oooh, nice eye you got there.
I would like to say a detail I found, in the scene where the Traveler is looking at the burning area (idk what it’s called-), he is not using dendro element. Instead, he is using light element. Probably another animation mistake??

  4. Btw, I know the previous Dendro archon is dead, but it is said "She disappeared", so what if the previous archon, due to erosion (and some other stuff) was just corrupted and it's the demonic voice we hear in the most recent 3.0 trailer when they say "Are you really so ignorant…". I feel like that will be the main stuff we're gona run into Sumeru and it will be the product of the collaboration between the Akademya and the the Abyss, who allegedly both want to recreate a god (2 different types of god, one is the previous archon and the other is just a god to go against Celestia). Plus in all of this the Fatui are trying to get to Irminsul (Dottore wants to burn it, I think), so they're trying to trick Kusanali (and Nilou, who's the one who hid it) into telling them, that's why she may be behind Kathryne (since we all think she's Sandrone's puppet).
I don't know… That's my overall theory, explained very poorly cause my english and my inability to explain myself, but i think it kinda makes sense! Let me know what y'all think!

  5. The sun and moon comment also had me interested as someone fascinated with Tarot – The Moon represents Illusion whilst the Sun is representing of Happiness and Success.

Nahida also likely cameoed briefly in the Golden Archipelago towards the end, stating about the "machine" on the islands bearing a power similar to her own, implying that perhaps she is the God of Dreams or Illusions. Nahida standing in the place of the Dendro Archon is effectively her standing in for the emblem of true happiness and success for Sumeru, doing her best to serve her role despite being a god of something that conflicts with her given title as God of Wisdom.

  6. I feel like based on the 3.0 trailer, there are some people in Sumeru who wish to revive Greater Lord Rukkhadevata, or at least dislike Kusanali because she is a living reminder of the death of the old archon. It feels like that by celebrating Kusanali's birthday, you're also celebrating Rukkhadevata's death, at least in those peoples' eyes. So it's completely understandable that Kusanali/Nahida would think that way about herself, seeing as that she seems to be viewed as only a fraction of the original Dendro Archon. Still though, I feel really bad for her!

I feel as though the Sumeru story is definitely going to revolve around "knowing the truth" and "being ignorant to the truth" based on all the context, themes, and trailer lines. In that case, it may be likely that Kusanali will provide us with the most information regarding the truth of Teyvat that we've ever gotten so far. Especially considering that Sumeru is the halfway point of the Teyvat chapters, it would make sense if the lore pacing starts to pick up a bit! This is just my theory, though.

In addition, thinking about the line "the oasis of knowledge is a mirage in the desert of ignorance" from the travail trailer, I wonder if the disappearing person at 0:40 has some significance to that line. Like… I don't want to say that the entirety of Sumeru City is one big mirage in the desert, but something similar on a smaller scale, like maybe certain things are mirages and aren't actually real? I don't know. Just some thoughts I wanted to share!

  7. I think the story will revolve around the concept of life, decay, and rebirth, as said by the devs in the preview. Something like Groot (yes that tree guy). Take it as if the old dendro archon is a tree, but when it's time to go, you get to have seeds, which sprouts into a new tree of the same kind. So maybe Nahida is a seed or part of the old archon — but is still unique because she's still different from the one she originated from. That's why to her, it's an endless loop of death and rebirth. Now I think Nilou's dance for the "festival" that was mentioned is also related to Nahida ascension to archon-hood, hence the line, "we can't afford to lose any more festivals" because the ley lines are already starting to get disrupted in Sumeru and Nahida might not find ascend to a full archon status… and maybe a reason to lose the Dendro gnosis since she's not a full archon?

  8. I think there is a power struggle between the newly born Archon who's not being recognized by the Akademiya and the Akademiya itself still living in the shadow of the "greater" Lord . I believe NAhida/Kusanali is having this inferiority complex because of being the "lesser" Lord.

  9. I really like the theory that sumeru forest is just a mirage and the desert is the truth but Im kinda worried that hoyoverse would keep sumeru forested even if kusanali wants his people to live in truth idk so far im glad ill get to play genshin impact again

  12. 3:00 yes I thought of that too as she is the current so I think Greater Lord Rukkhadevata was the one mentioned because he was older, knew more and also fought in the archon war but died in the cataclysm
and its to be known that it will be about someone/some people cuz they hate thr new dendro archon and think that the previous one is superior as Kusanali said or smth

  14. It's been confirmed that Lesser Lord Kusanali and Nahida are the same person. Yae referred to her as the first name stating that the people of Sumeru affectionately call her that. The old archon was the Greater Lord. Nahida, like Zhongli, has multiple aliases.
Nahida refers to herself as just the moon because the moon, basically, is just a far lesser version of the sun. The moon has it's uses and purpose, but not like the sun does.
I know some minor spoilers, but I won't say too much here. Cyno is a general and he and Al-Haitham have a,,,complicated relationship. Al-Haitham is extremely serious, like a majority of the people in Sumeru but probably worse lmao

  15. The previous archon was called "Rukhdevata" which literally translates to "tree god" in my language ….trees can be cut in any way possible because with time , some sprouts will definitely appear .What if when she was dying during the cataclysm , as a tree , she gave rise to nahida ? Since kusanali does mean a little leaf if I'm correct … This would be an interesting thought 🤔
