there are 3 ring you can get some chests in the world give you a fragment every 3 fragments make one ring so in total there are 9 fragments and 3 rings every ring opens a secret door in natlan there are 3 of those doors behind those doors there are like 5-10 holden artfiacts (can't remember) and 1 elixer so you can get 3 elixers just by exploring the entirity of natlan
Circlets are the best value here honestly crit value circlet with two crit stats is rare, even if other two substats are subpar. Tho it's still needs to roll into those crit substats😢
tldr: 100% natlan then you can make an artefact
While I do think it's a very underwhelming system upon first release, so long as they made sure you can actually get at least 3-4 per patch (not including BP) I think it's something that will get better over time as players can build up more of a stockpile. It's not going to replace hours of farming, it's there as a consolation after you've spent hours farming and getting nothing.
I do think one niche use though is that if you're sure you're going off-piece for the goblet, and just seriously don't have any good options (I've been playing 3 years and still lack good goblets for a lot of elements), you can craft a goblet in a set you otherwise never use, so you can still craft an on-piece circlet or sands for the set you actually need. But even that only assumes if you're using if after you've stockpiled enough that you can drop 4 with no worries.
The only thing I'm gonna use this on is characters that I farmed for years for and eventually just settled because I wanted to build other characters. I farmed for 6 months for a crit damage circlet for ayaka on the cryo set and NEVER got one. I settled for a horrible on-set cryo goblet and made it her off piece 🙄
im pretty sure they're random because if they were in specific chests they would be after big puzzles or quests not just random precious chests i found them in
They really shpuld have implemented a system where every so many runs you can put in the artifact and ALL subs you want. Even 25, 50 or 100 runs wouldnt even be as bad as the transmuter, because even a perfect artifact can roll into less than ideal but still good artifacts (say crit dmg instead of crit rate) instead of this bologna elixers that give you an artifact and roll all into def.
I crafted an on set hp% sands for mualani and I got 10CR and 20CD so Im not complaining about it yet

to be honest my first geo goblet in with double crit (three years playing) was bc of this system, it did save my navia build so i like it 😅
i feel like its more worth if youre on the last piece you need for a set bonus as then you may potetially be able to stop farming

i dont have any artifacts to give it so im just gonna slowly get elixir from rewards and use it on a sands for itto, but by that point ill probably have a good sands from artifact farming
I used 2 on plume and got one with 40cv so yeah I’m not using them on 3-4 cost that’s a big gamble now I have 4 left saving them for the pyro archon artifact set

def a scam. 20 level 20 5star artifacts for a chance to get 1 good goblet like once in a blue moon? you'd have better luck converting 3 to 1 unleveled artifacts.

This thing is such a scam I spent 8 hours farming the elixirs to finally get my double crit on set hydro dmg bonus for Furina and when I finally got it it rolled 3 times into em and once into flat def… it was worse than the one I already had 🙁 (believe it knocked my Furina from top 5% to top 13%)
you're coping if you think needing more than 1 elixir for any of the pieces isn't immediantly bad. this item is a waste of time and only useful if you've already dumped a metric shit ton of resin, and even then substats can still fuck you over. calling this a band aid solution would be kind.

With how difficult it is to get the exilrs, WHY CAN WE ONLY DO 1 SET PER PATCH??? Not even a whole set, but a single piece. I wish they would add some kind of dream solvent but for artifacts, because the amount of times I’ve gotten a cracked sands from a domain, but then it ends up being the wrong main stat the wrong set? Just let me make my 92920 attack obsidian codex sands hp or make my 22739 scroll of the hero into obsidian codex hoyo…
I have tried it too get a better Physical goblet for my EULA and it rolled like dogwater..

For the amount of resources that you have to put into getting just one elixir and the long cooldown, and still having to endure the bad rolling RNG, it is a scam. The ability to just transform garbage artifacts into EXP is great though. The creation via the elixir I'm only going to do with found and BP elixirs. I thought you'd get the option of remodeling an existing artifact when they announced it, that would have been way better and that would justify the high costs and cooldown of creating elixirs.
circlet is probably the worst thing you could spend it on. I would say Sands > Goblet > flower/feather > Circlet. Sands over goblet cause its cost effective
And you can only make one per artifact set like why what is the reason all games with this system can do multiple I think star rail system is much better

I tried getting a good crit dmg circlet on the set for my wanderer (desert pavilion)
Crit dmg main stat and chose crit rate and atk%
IN THE END I GOT 11 CRIT RATE AND EVERYTHING ELSE INTO ATK% 🥳🥳🥳
