So, let’s breakdown the amount of primogems or how many free wishes you can expect to save!
Let’s start with the dailies, if nothing changes, version 5.3 will last for 42 days, since we get 60 primogems per day from dailies, that’s 42 multiplied by 60, totaling 2520 primogems.
right as 5.3 goes live, 600 primogems will be given as compensation for server downtime maintenance.
We will get four events as usual: one big event and three smaller ones. The big event will be the Lantern Rite, which will reward us with 3,020 Primogems, a free Liyue 4-star character selector, and a free Xiangling skin. Unfortunately, this event is expected to happen in the second phase, as miHoYo typically releases the Lantern Rite around the Chinese New Year, which falls in the second half of the patch. So if you’re trying to wish in the first phase banners, then you’re more than cooked here.
As for the three smaller events, we’ll have a music event, a Natlan parkour event, and a Beetle Battle Brawl event, each rewarding 420 Primogems. When you combine all the events, you’ll be able to earn a total of 4,280 Primogems.
Moving on, The Imaginarium theater will reset twice in 5.3, and since they made it easy for everyone, let’s take 1000 primogems as the estimate.
The spiral abyss will reset once in version 5.3. Since i know most of you are going to stop at floor 11, that’s 600 primogems in the bag.
We’ll get the last act of the Natlan Archon Quest in this update. If you complete it, you’ll receive 1 intertwined fates and 720 primogems. So, just from the Archon Quest alone, you can collect a total of 880 primogems.
the shop will reset twice in version 5.3. giving us 10 intertwined fates or 1600 primogems.
The character trial runs will give you 80 primogems in total and 120 primogems from Mavuika’s And Citlali’s story quests.
New achievements will give you 205 primogems.
And lastly, 300 primogems from version 5.4 special livestream.
After adding everything together, A free to play player will can collect a total of 12,185 primogems or 76 intertwined fates. the first phase will give you 30 pulls and the second phase will give you 46 pulls. For the welkin moon subscribers, you will get 100 intertwined fates. For the people who can’t clear or don’t bother doing the Imaginarium and abyss, you can collect a total of 10,585 primogems or 66 intertwined fates. 20 in the first phase and 46 in the second phase.
If you haven’t fully explored natlan yet, and still want to wish in the first phase banners, make sure to explore it. You still have a lot of time left, take your time to fully explore to do so.

Im srsly stuck between who to pull for in the 2nd pase, i wanted to pull for childe but since the chronicled wish is only available in the 2nd phase along w/ father (Arle)… Idk who to save up for rn.. i already have a decent pyro DPS (lyney) who makes decent dmg but still im confused on who to choose😔 chat, should i go for arlecchino or childe?
Going for Mavuika, maybe her weapon, and then Arlecchino's weapon. Still have about 30-40% of the new region unexplored, a ton of Achievements I haven't claimed, and more than 32K gems stocked up. Pity at 60s. Wish me luck!
