  1. Here's something that has interested me as of late, I don't know if there are theories already about it but..

Do you remember that cave inside the waterfall in Qingce Village where we see a massive ball like mechanic levitating and we have to fight a lot of ruins guards and hunters.

If you look closely at that massive core, it looks almost exactly like the Chaos Core material we get from Ruin Guard and Ruin Hunter drops.

It's like a giant version of it. What's more interesting is that in the Chaos Core description it states, "Should you understand its workings and reproduce it, you could perhaps change the world."

We also know that the abyss wanted the core from the first Field Tiller to created a Artificial God. Since the first core is the only one that was created without restrictions and limitations. This also gives the idea that Khaenri'ah or the Abyss wasn't the people that first invented such device, but might be the nation to successfully replicate it, though inferior.

Anyways, If this thing Massive Device in that cave is an attempt of making a Chaos Core, what the hell where they planning to put such a massive energy core into?

  2. The God of Time was apparently somewhat of a partner to Venti judging by the "Time and Wind" World quest in Mondstadt, as well as by the description of the Sacrificial Bow. It reads "Anemo brings stories while Time nurtures them." This is pretty much all we get to know, however, as they've been forgotten by the people on Teyvat.

In Raiden's profile under her story descriptions, there's a tab for Musou Isshin. Musou Isshin is the sword that Ei has put her consciousness into of course, but it's also the sword of her deceased sister Raiden Makoto whom was also a God. Under that tab it describes the sword as follows "This sword has had two wielders, and has witnessed both time and eternity." If we were to take that and apply "eternity" to one of the wielders, we would obviously pick Ei, which leaves "time" to be paired with Makoto.

It would seem like Makoto was the God of Time, and their disappearance can be explained by Makoto's death during the Cataclysm. Ei seems to even acknowledge this during the cutscene showing Makoto's death during the Cataclysm, saying "Perhaps only if time stands still will the lightning's glow never fade" as she is shown holding Makoto's body. As the God of Time you could say her death left time standing still.

This could explain why Venti has issues with Celestia post-Cataclysm and how he knows that Ei really likes desserts, as well as why Ei would know Venti and know about as his drinking habits which she mentions in her voice lines. Maybe this is also Mihoyo's way of having a mythological reference with Venti being Fujin or a "wind brother" of sorts to Makoto and Ei, who could represent Raijin.

  3. 1.. For the speculations of Paimon controlling time, I believe it's false. It's count more as waiting than actual time manipulation.

The game even hints us to this as in many quest that requires a specific time to activate, it would write "wait until (time)". But the biggest hint is in the time menu itself, it shows 2 details, current time and wait until..

    2. For those who are wondering why when you pause the game some things still move, like the grasses, trees, broken ores, etc.. That's just game design.

Same as in their other game Honkai some objects aren't affected by the pause mechanic, SP packs and some special animations continue their actions even after pausing the game.

    3. On the note of our twin saying "we always had enough time", it was targeted to both them and their sibling, not them and the Abyss.

The fact that they spoke for both themselves and the Traveler that's not living in the Abyss means that, like Dainslief they might be Immortal. The Abyss sibling already knows everything of this world and THEMSELVES so they would know the reasons why time is not an issue for them.

For the reasons why they didn't just tell us the truth themselves could be a lot of factors. The most obvious one for me is that most time telling someone the brutal truth doesn't normally goes well, and the other person normally denies it. If that's the case it's best to leave that person to discover the truth themselves. In which our sibling chose to do.

  4. I would like to think paimon was part of khaenri'ah's downfall not because she helped in the destruction of khaenri'ah but she was the reason celestia destroyed it in the first place. Maybe she was a product of an experiment in khaenri'ah where they had tried creating a being who can control time. Her cape and Dain's cape look similar and the time abilities are similar too if Dain can also control time in a sense. Perhaps paimon had lost her memory and travelled across parts of teyvat to find answers and thus she eventually meets the traveller who helped her from drowning.

Just a theory but i could be wrong in many ways. If anyone has anything to add just comment it🙂🙂.

  5. I remember things I learnt from other theory/speculation videos when I saw 8:50.

The round thing inside that room and the one in the middle of Nameless Island are same. Then, based on orange juice's video (https://youtu.be/R7HphhRy2FI on 1:44), there's a tunnel under the round thing in the Nameless Island (and from what I saw, when we use elemental sight, the round thing is white). They said the Abyss Order use that tunnel to travel underground Mondstadt (there's a/? video in their channel about God of Time, Venti, and Abyss that explain this with more detail)

And from World of Teyvat's videos, Dragonspine playlist, more specifically, these videos https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=URH9RNJhW40 and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xgdtkie5lpU (you can try using the auto translate subtitles since it's in Indonesian, not too accurate translasion, but it's pretty helpful), he mentioned about the message from the ruin guards and the text from scribe's box. He said that Kahenriah probably was made after the fall of Sal Vindagnyr, and the ruin guards are like invitations for people of Sal Vindagnyr to join a nation without a God.

Maybe Khaenriah sent those ruin guards to Sal Vindagnyr through that tunnel ?
    (sorry for long comment)

  6. I've been enjoying these a lot, and they've gotten me poking around a little myself in Teyvat.
Take the Unnamed Island east of Starsnatch Cliff, there is some very odd stuff going on there… First of all, there is the sundial. For sundials to work, the gnomon, aka the pointer, needs to be pointed to the North Star if it's in the Northern Hemisphere, or the equivalent spot in the sky if it's in the Southern Hemisphere. Instead, both it and the sundial by the Temple of the Thousand Winds are both pointed slightly below East, making them broken as sundials. So, either the planet has been shifted over 90 degrees on it's axis and respun (as a comparison, the planetary collision that created our Moon only gave the Earth a 23.4 degree axis tilt), or the sky was moved (remember Scaramouch's words about the sky). There is also a beastly complex sound environment there, with distinct points and bands of sound that includes some mechanical and electric machinery sounds, and the bizarreness that while the gnomon's shadow points straight down at 15:45 at the sundial by the Temple of the Thousand Winds, the one on the Unnamed Island does so at 16:15 (interesting implications of just how high up the sun is there).
Thought you might like these little details 😉

  7. Did anyone here think Celestia is aware of the treachery of the Cryo Archon and the activities of the Abyss? Their lack of appearance and action so far is curious given everything that has happened so far.

  8. I don't if this theory is out there but there might be a Rule of 2 (not necessarily like the one in the Star Wars) in ruling a territory.

Mondstadt – Wind and Time (Barbatos Venti and Paimon)

    Liyue – Zhongli and Guizhong

    Inazuma – Makoto and Ei

  9. I think paimon was created by a celestial who could not get her alive and then threw her out of there for some reason.
    OR
she might have specially crafted for the traveller ( I really think like this is a test and the other sibling is trying do something more bigger whenever s/he thinks like s/he's ready now. paimon is for watching over us)

  10. After you mentioned Paimon after mentioning the destroyed kingdom on Dragonspine and their princess, it could be possible that Paimon is the reincarnation of said princess, maybe imbued with the power of time as well. Who knows?

  11. Mihoyo really needs to pick up with the lore. I feel like Mihoyo is just adding more mystery and less answers. We are not getting any gameplay content so atleast give us story. Thats just me though…i actually want more story then gameplay.

  12. "the next video I want to dive into are the witches" GAH FINALLY! THEY'RE SO UNDERRATED.
Like, not only do they have the(presumably) lead cause of the Cataclysm within their ranks, but they can accurately read the REAL stars (that isn't common information, even Scara speaks as if it's super duper unique info), indirectly read minds through intention and can literally read/interpret destinies??? They can manipulate Teyvat's laws through the leylines to become nigh OMNIPOTENT and have the potential to be the most lethal spies in all of Teyvat (Alice, though there's then the plot hole of her having this power and having no clue of who Zhongli is lol) like??? Hello???

If they can accurately read stars and all of that, did they have a more intrinsic relationship with Khaenriah, the eclipse dynasty? Also how tf is Gold still alive and kicking whilst being a top rank on Celestia's sh*tlist??? So OP??? Also why hasn't albedo and Mona met and conversated yet, they have forbidden knowledge and are both proteges of notable witches within the same coven???

I wouldn't be surprised if the time god were in their ranks tbh. Anyway amazing video as always, can't wait to see the next!

  13. I have a theory
If paimon was painted as mona lisa then could be that she will die in future?
The thing is the new event, paimon claims that she will leave traveler one day, and then there is mona lisa painting of paimon I think something will happen in the story, its gonna turn up bittersweet or should I say sad ending, well I hope mihoyo won't wish to do that it's like working hard for years for a game then later just throw it in garbage.

  14. oh man, what if the traveler's sibling already beat the game, didnt like the ending and is siding with the abyss to see if they'll get a better ending, or a….smt4 white ending 😮

  15. The way it sounds with Khaenri'ah in this, its like they've had some sort of "contact" or "awakening" and because of that, they were destroyed as they were never meant to have that knowledge in the first place, and that what remains is overrun by the abyss as "divine punishment" by Celestia…but what better way to mask demons/monsters as Gods than through a higher power that has the ability to re-write history. After Kapatcir, I'm starting to think that some of these other gods that have escaped to the 'dark sea' were probably divine beings that were chased off by the violence Celestia brought about and that the Gods/Archons we have now are named after devils because they are actually abyss monsters hidden amongst the humans and given "acknowledgement" by Celestia to help keep humanity in line and that Teyvat is a simulation. That said, While Khaenri'ah did fall to the Abyss, I don't think the Abyss it's self is inherintly evil as much as it is the monsters that sprang forth from it and now don the names of the divine aka Celestia and the Archons.
