Just to clear up some Nahida vs Baizhu misconception driving wise, specifically regarding the doubts about Baizhu's NAs range:
Nahida and Al Haitham's NA are only slightly better range-wise than baizhu, and they're hardly the reason they're better drivers than him since they don't generate multi-hits unless enemies are literally glued to each others. Besides, Baizhu has access to some aoe through his Charged Attack and his Elemental Skill, just not on the same level as nahida, which is why I mention single target in the video here. Besides, hyperbloom is mostly a st comp because the amount of aoe app xq and yelan generate is not huge, the big chunk of it goes to the primary target, which obviously baizhu will always prioritize. I explicitly mention how Baizhu's offensive cons compared to nahida are compensated by his defensive utility.
Nahida is not the only dendro character you can use in keqing/yae aggravate tho.
Just use Yaoyao and she’ll give you enough dendro and heals while letting you use kazuha as well, the 4 sec burst doesn’t matter cuz keqing/yae aggravate team is quickswap oriented.
This is a different story for cyno tho, as he wants all the field time on the team
Wouldnt double dendro variation of cyno quickbloom will suffer from er req too much? I know he can produce a lot particules but im not sure if its even enough for him and what is your opinion on baizhu in a yae aggro team?
Baizhu's best team must be the Nahida / Baizhu / Cyno / Xingqiu team. He is the perfect replacement for Dendro MC or YaoYao especially since you'll generally use Nahida for the 1st abyss team which leaves Baizhu avaliable for the 2nd team as a healer OR shielder.
What I was wondering is wether the buff still activate if the character is at max hp, which means just with automatic heal initiation, or requires an actual healing of the active character who isn't at max hp ?
i predict Fontaine will have a “take damage to activate buffs” meta. so hoyoverse has been giving us units that want HP.
such is why we have so many characters that scale off HP in 3.x updates: dori, candace, nilou, yaoyao, baizhu, mika, layla, dehya, kirara. and we have more other older characters who want HP: yelan, kokomi, zhongli, kuki, bennett, diona, barbara, hutao, thoma.
such is why we have Vourukasha artifacts where taking dmg is a thing, where dehya wants to take dmg in her kit, where baizhu shield breaks easily to take damage.
healers will be extra valuable because losing hp might be a good thing in Fontaine. shielders will not be that wanted because if u don’t take damage, you get no buff.
dehya-havers and baizhu-havers may have something uniquely interesting in store for them in 4.x updates. this is probably similar to the yae miko, kokomi and kuki shinobu situation in 2.x updates where their kits didn’t make sense upon release but have become so much better when the 3.x meta arrived.
Often times people get very focused on offensive value, the fact that he can be a small upgrade to Nahida in certain teams and cover your defensive needs opening a slot for a better support unit is the real value, I was gonna pull on this banner anyway because of Kaveh but the more I here about baizu the more glad I am that kaveh is on his banner
i am happy with these informative short videos. so far Nahida/Kirara/ YaoYao vs Baizhu been great! now we just need a Baizhu vs Kokomi breakdown somwhere

So, should I go for Baizhu or AlHaitham? I kinda want AlHaitham but having Baizhu with Kazuha/Sucrose in my team sounds good too
I have cyno but I still feel like Baizhu is not for him ,1.7% max hp shield ,40% dmg / 100 em for aggravate and 100% /200 em for bloom hyperbloom etc . I don't have nahida btw won 50/50 in a row and got cyno unexpectedly
My take on Baizhu is that he is going to be valuable as a Burgeon driver, if you are precise to swap Thoma in to benefit from Baizhu's passive on Burst.
Burning is not a good option, as you need a high-EM Dendro applier (e.g. Nahida).
He can be played in Hyperbloom teams, but there are no particular benefits, as Kuki is the best solution for those, and she's a healer as well, so any Dendro dmg dealer is a better option.
If you pair him with Nahida in Nilou's Bloom teams as the driver, granted you manage to have consistent Hydro application, he might be viable, for you wouldn't require Kokomi as the second Hydro unit anymore: a seed would be sometimes be generated by his low-EM attacks, but Nahida's E should cover up in multi-target scenarios when he triggers Bloom, for the sake of generating multiple seeds with high-EM hits.
He might be not that great in Quicken teams, as his buff is better to be exploited by high-EM units. A viable team would be Raiden + Kazuha C2 + Nahida + Baizhu, as you could provide Raiden with at least 500 EM (200 from Kazuha, 250 from Nahida, 50+ from Dendro Resonance), which is high enough to exploit Baizhu's passive; if you manage to have at least 100 base EM on Raiden, that's even better.

All I know is he's freeing up both Zhongli and Nahida in my aggravate team so that leaves me another slot for another electro unit
