you say the right thing, especially in the end: "if you want her: GET HER" 😀 let nobody take your enjoyment away, you should only wish for characters you want and you should only play the characters you like and benefit your playstyle.
On a certain point in the game it doesn't really matter which characters you run. You just need a good synergized setup and you will be able to get through the content.
Kokomi will be great and even if not, i will still get her because her visuals are so amazing. This is something mihoyo is very good at and this is one of the reasons why we love this game. 😀

I already decided to get her just cuz she’s SO PRETTY also I don’t have a good hydro character or healer so she will be absolutely perfect!!!
So here me out. At first, I was pulling for Baal I worked hard really bad to get her. But you know what did mihoyo gave me? I lost that 50/50 and just got Mona. My heart was so broken that at that time I wish to uninstall genshin. It's like literally all of my friends makes Raiden shogun comes home to them, but me? Spent 78 pulls for a fuckin Mona and then After 57 pulls still not a sign of her? I'm giving up. So with accepting the fact, I try to heal my heart with seeing kokomi's showcase and potential videos on YouTube. Hopefully, she is worth it. :))))

If you want her to be dps you dont need a separate build cause her ult scales up on her max hp also her healing, which is pretty overpowered, even tho she doesn't crit im still positive on what her damage will do, im so glad im guaranteed kokomi 🥰❤

Ah yes, look at Venti now, his CC is the broken because he specializes in it and yet he fell behind Kazuha in abyss(unless you play freeze comps) Why? Because he's so broken at CC that removing the need for one makes him sub par.
Kazuha, however, has all the aspects of anemo: great CC, buffs, res shred from VV, spammable skill, great sub dps, great enabler with how easy to control his Q absorption.
Tl;dr sometimes, characters that are broken in one aspect tend to do worse than 'Jack of all trades' or rather characters that are Best in both worlds

i hope you are right, i even was about to skip the raiden shogun to get her bc i liked her design, but i didn´t bc of the five stars, i get some kind of lucky bc in less than 90 pulls i got the shogun and jean so my next character is guaranteed

She does not replace Xingqiu, no, even though it's wider she has half of his Hydro Application (once every 2s instead of once every 1s~), she literally cannot keep up with any of the current relevant Pyro Units as an off-field Hydro applicator.
This is a hype video, fine, even though I think some of the rest of your points are a bit too optimistic, they're mostly correct, but saying she can support a Vape team is straight up misinformation with the current pre-release knowledge we have on her.
Now that I think about it, a 4pc. Tenacity Set is actually a very well rounded set for Kokomi. It enhances her supportive capabilities by having a huge uptime for a 20% attack bonus. Not only this, the heal provided would be increased too because the 2pc bonus means increase in max HP, where her heal scales from.
Alternatively, although the 4pc tenacity would restrict Kokomi's damage potential because she will be a dedicated buffer and healer instead of using a 4pc HoD or 2pc Hod and 2pc Maiden, this will be compensated by the HP increase, which increases her base damage as well.

This has become my most FAVORITE video about Koko Sango. You proved so many of my reasons to be right. I pull characters for preparations and new tactics – not DAMAGE, DAMAGE, DAMAGE.
I LOVE what she stands for. I will be proud to swap sets on the fly according to the battle at hand. I too understand the art of war. She is gonna feel so good to have.
Kokomi seems really nice and unique but I already have a thundering pulse and Shimenawa ready for him so I might as well go for Childe

Watch Kokomi become the benchmark for support and make the meta slaves implode on themselves. Spent all that time obsessing over Raiden, skipping Ayaka, Yoimia, and now Kokomi for a more expensive Keqing but one that doesn’t work with Beidou.
I'll be a Kokomi main by pre-farmed her mats already but I'm sold again by your 4th reason. I've seen some of the whale accounts that has a lot of top tier dps but doesn't build supports struggle in Spiral Abyss, let alone the new poison buff and ignore shield mechanic.
My reason is that I have not leveled any hydro character past level 20 simply because I hate Oceanid
