Hey everyone! Earlier today, Hoyoverse officially revealed the details for the second phase of the version 5.1 banners. So we’ll talk about them and how many primogems we can get in Phase 2.

Starting October 29, the phase 2 banners will feature Nahida’s and Hu Tao’s banners, along with the four-star characters Xingqiu, Kuki Shinobu, and Sethos. The weapon banner will feature A Thousand Floating Dreams, which is Nahida’s signature weapon, and Staff of Homa, which is Hu Tao’s signature. Xingqiu last reran in version 4.5 alongside Kazuha and Neuvillette, and now this will be his 11th rerun banner. Xingqiu is an off-field DPS who enables reactions through his excellent hydro application and also has non-negligible personal damage. As for Kuki, her last rerun was in 4.2 alongside Ayato and Cyno, and this will be her 5th rerun banner. She’s a great 4-star character who provides healing and off-field electro application. She can be used in Aggravate and Hyperbloom teams, as well as a pure healer. Lastly, Sethos has never had a rerun; he was released in 4.7 alongside Clorinde, so this will be his first rerun. Sethos has two DPS playstyles, a Normal Attack playstyle and a Charged Attack one, and unique mechanics involving energy gain and loss. All in all, these banners are great—Xingqiu and Kuki are some of the best units in the game, regardless of rarity. Hu Tao and Nahida are already strong characters with great pull value, and these 4-stars are just the icing on the cake. Now let’s talk about the weapon banner. Nahida’s and Hu Tao’s signature weapons are some of the best in the game, making the weapon banner highly valuable and worth pulling for. This is really devious of Hoyoverse because upcoming versions are set to feature amazing characters like Neuvillette, Zhongli, Shenhe, Mavuika, and more. Staff of Homa is a great weapon for characters like Cyno, Raiden, Xiao, Hu Tao, etc. As for A Thousand Floating Dreams, it’s a fantastic choice for characters who need plenty of Elemental Mastery in their builds, such as Mualani, Yae Miko, and Nahida. As for the 4-star options, we have Fruitful Hook, Lion’s Roar, Dragon’s Bane, Eye of Perception, and Favonius Warbow. These are great options, starting with Fruitful Hook, which is a solid choice for characters like Beidou and Diluc, especially if paired with Xingqiu. Dragon’s Bane and Favonius Warbow are also valuable because they can be used on a variety of characters, and their refinements are highly beneficial. Overall, this weapon banner is excellent, and with the Fate Point system now updated, it’s even more tempting to pull since you’re guaranteed to get your desired weapon after losing once.

Now let’s look at how many pulls we can get during the entirety of Phase 2 of 5.1. Starting with the events: we still have 3 events remaining, including the often-overlooked Liben event. The main event will provide 1,000 primogems, one small event will give us 420 gems, and the Liben event will offer 380 gems, totaling 1,800 primogems from events. The main event has already started, coinciding with Nahida’s birthday on October 27. We’ll also be getting a free Candace.

  19. New player here… I'm saving my primos for Arlecchino, but I'm thinking of getting Nahida. Should I get her or just wait for Arlecchino?

  38. Start this game last year when Fontaine quest was out I only got 1 archon in my party that is Raiden shogun/ Ei I am dead set getting Nahida, Zhonglie, Manuvika apologies for the misspelling of the archons names i need more primo gem 💎:UID: 765039585
