Pee- said the valk
I'm waiting for Dendro and anything that can directly/indirectly buff Yae Miko. Anything that doesn't buff Yae Miko MORE than Kazuha and C6 Sara can wait or skip.
Other than that, the only thing that interests me after v2.5 up to now is the Chasm area added in v2.6, and the primogems, of course.
I'm really hoping the game won't be this year for all of the years it will be in development. I hope there will be more to do that can't just be done in a single sitting per patch. Although I do prefer it when it isn't timegated.
Trust me 2.8 will change everything… 😔
Ninokuni got me hooked together with my guildmates so have vry little to no time for genshin nowadays, have nothing to do anyway.
Val, Pace yourself, I am taking my time, and enjoying the journey. For content creators, I understand where you are coming from.
Has anyone seen the leak that in this patch we were supposed to get a item that lets us change a artifacts main stat to whatever we want?? I saw it from reliable leakers it’s would be in this patch but it never came… now that would have been so amazing…
ur "baby boy" U ARE CRINGTE
2.7 is basically nothing now if the event is done I log in only to do chores and already completed abyss at the end game there's basically so low content sheshhh
LOL says he has nothing to do yet he cant even clear the perilous trail on platinum score. The guy did 1 run for the slowest possible time LOL. I replayed it multiple times and got 3 mins for all the domains and 6 mins on the final one. All platinum clears and welkin only player.
After 10 days I'm back again just do resin and daily weekly thing, can't wait for 2.7 2nd phase (only for Shinobu, lol) and 2.8 (again only for Kazuha, lol),
I’m looking forward to the GAA rerun, and I’m actually much more apprehensive abt Sumeru. I’m just afraid it would be Inazuma 2.0, where they rushed the ending and completely wasted the tons of potential it had.
Welp, nothing I can do but pray!
I don't think 2.7 was supposed to be this big game-changer but just filler with small quality of life fixes between big region paches.
I haven’t even collected all the oculi in Inazuma. Glad there’s still many days left for Yelan’s event because I haven’t even started. Been chilling.
the only thing i feel they genuinely improved on was the story. Instead of talking to random npcs we actually had a story that had characters we love interacting with each other. Other than that, it's back to no real content.
God damn dude I haven’t even finished the event bruh you are supposed to live irl not in tevyat all the time go touch some grass
wh– what ? … this was the best event and archon quest so far ???
this is the first time i saw twitter praise genshin so much collectively !!!
i dont know man (and whoever in the comments that agree) if youre not here for the story i dont think Sumeru will make you feel anything
I'm already slowly detaching myself from the game. 3.0 first half is when my welkin ends and if nothing has changed I think I'm done💀
game got boring tbh. I stopped doing dailies and it improved my relationship with this game but all I've done is log on, get yelan, level her up in 5 minutes, beat abyss and event with her and logged off ever since. Idk why they dont add stuff to do Honkai's abyss resets every few days and there are more combat modes as well and new events every week.
The main event was good, time for the drought again…
I think the archon quest in 2.7 is good .. but the rest it feels like a repeat.
the story is new, not the others
The fact that there are already some leakers talking about sumeru but we still have one more "filler patch" (Golden apple archipelago is good but Im probably gonna finish that map in 3 days if they timegate it) with only 1 new 4 star is just pain. Said 4 star being from inazuma and knowing how hoyo makes 4 stars in inazuma, heizou will be in the same situation with sayu, thoma and kuki since only the team buffers will survive and have a place in the meta (only seen sara and gorou in abyss, the rest non existent).
I unisntalled the game about a month ago, and I'll only return for Kazuha or Sumerou.
idk why they cant sit down for one dry patch duration and design a good survival mode-ish replayable content which resets every patch and gives rewards like aesthetics or some ways to buff old characters, to a certain point, and after the rewarding levels end, its just randomised bosses for whales and veterans to show off n have fun.
they do that, and they have 0 stuff to worry about even in unfortunate cases like the delay we had
All my focus is on Kazuha rerun (which I m scared might not happen, coz the PTSD of missing the 1st bnnr wont let me think otherwise) so Sumeru is nowhere in my mind. IMO once I get Kazuha, I might as well be happy about everything else in the game.
I say this, Yelan kinda changed the meta a bit that's it
I'm gonna die inside if they did not address end-game or any repeatable content when Sumeru comes. But to be honest, my expectations are very low.
Hmm…..i think they will just improve event quality, end game will take atleast halfway through sumeru
Always hating is not good. if u do don't tell us everytime to make vedios. If you have so many problems simply don't play the game
I stop playing the game entirely. But still hoping for something good to happen. If you finally find that the game is finally fun and interesting, do post a video about it. You're the only genshit CC that i can relate to.
Everyone's just burnt out and will be burnt out until a big patch that will freshen things up.
And that's the cycle the game will keep following.
It changed nothing and is somehow 13gb to update
I stopped playing at 2.5 and I'm waiting for Sumeru to play again. Content is mostly meaningless except 2-3 days worth of content max per patch cycle.
Honestly, I’m at that point where new region is no longer enough to entertain myself. I mean yeah I’m having fun when exploring new region, experiencing new story quest and what not, but we all know that could only go for so long before the novelty runs out whether you play it casually or not. At the end of the day, it’s a video game, we want to entertain ourselves with playing the game. You can only look at the scenery for so long before you go “Now what?”. We need some repeatable stuffs that will give us something meaningful, and it doesn’t need to be necessarily primogems.
Wait, wasn't 2.5 fun, you could just re explore the whole encanomia with new systems? And yeah 2.7 is kinda just a regular patch, was it suppose to change something?
And weren't 2.0 event kinda shit?
3:42 but they are, at least the developers stayted so
Genshin YouTube back to the usual bullshit while everywhere else just kind of goes about its business I see
You are correct. Still the same: Login, do commissions, condense some resin, get fookd by Artifact RNG. I'm waiting for Tower of Fantasy to be great so that Genshin starts moving, hehehehehe
You gotta look at this entire situation from different perspectives. There are players who want fun endgame stuff to do that's long lasting and isn't temporary like every event is in the game, think FFXIV's Goldsaucer and all of the minigames it houses, a game that does it right.
There are players who want much more difficult and challenging content aside from Spiral Abyss like raids, revamped boss fights, enemy arenas like survival mode and such and more challenging field enemies.
Lastly there are those who want the game to remain the same without the devs making it difficult or adding in a lot of the fun permanent minigame features and such, they love the game as is and would rather it stay that way. They don't mind logging in everyday to play for however long they're playing regardless of if they're new or veteran, FTP to whales or meta and casual focused players.
Excluding new regions and new character banners, who out of these perspectives will Mihoyoverse give more attention to? The answer…a little bit of everyone. Mihoyoverse releases difficult events, but meta players still clear them too quickly. They release fun exploration areas like the summer island event from last year and the teapot, but events are sadly temporary. The more casual side is fine from this as they don't care what the devs release as long as they're enjoying the game. Mihoyoverse tries to appeal to everyone, but I strongly believe that they want this to be a casual and laid back focused game over what Honkai does. They have the potential to make this game into something so much greater and take off too incredible heights with it's popularity, but unfortunately they still allow 6 year olds to submit most ideas to them from within the company.
Tbh I have problems right now bc I neglected Story Quests for a very long time (basically since Kokomi's which I didn't finish) and now that they've made them obligatory prerequisites for events (WTF WHY?), now I have to rush through both of them, killing most of the fun I could have with them. I'm seriously pissed over this, why do they do this?? So yeah, some people just don't do everything right when it comes out, that's where I'm at.
Omg poor valk! My experience is totally different, I play for 20 minutes and leave and come back the next day. Rinse and repeat. This is why I play other games on the side. Genshin is too boring between updates, I just continue grinding Artifacts and Talents for the small time I'm logged in
It’s a shame that The Genshin Devs at Hoyoverse have done nothing to give good endgame.
I'm excited for 3.0 for Sumeru and 2.8 with the rumor of the golden apple event ^^
