1:48:00 ish it's cleared up later that ushi is a separate entity, but before 'ushi's' words I had been thinking of him as something like oz as well and had a great time imagining ushi as itto's one braincell that he literally yeets 😂
Now I have a diff headcanon that ushi was part of a smaller shrine (maybe shinobu's family?) And was in a slump before itto brought variety and happiness back into his life.
I love how after the escape cutscene, Aster just went mute for a while

For your assumption of xiao being the youngest of the 5, you are not correct. According to cn, kr, jp transcripts, where age based hierarchy and respecting elderly has more cultural significance than the west, geo yaksha calls bosacius younger brother, while hydro and pyro yakshas call him older brother. On the other hand, xiao calls him by the name, meaning either he's older than bosacius or in the same age group. This means geo is the oldest, and xiao is the 2nd.
The only thing that I didn't like in this Quest is Itto and Shinobu. Besides punching the wall to the final domain, Itto is basically just a comic relief and i dont like the way he interacted with Yelan. Hes…impulsive and annoying. Shinobu could've been written with Yanfei and Yelan since she is almost the same in intelligence, but shes just there keeping Itto in check (and the fact that she is the one with agenda in liyue, not itto lmao).
As for Xiao, I love that he finally got closure for his dead friends and slowly opening up to us.
They really gave us an emotional rollercoaster back there. Thanks mihoyo and the VA’s for that masterpiece. 🥹

I find it so curious how the abyss resembles the Celestia we see in the first cutscenes with the unknown god. I assumed the abyss was underground but the stars and clouds make me think overwise. Strange.

Maybe Yelans chant is about the yakshas? Wind, Fire, Water and Thunder are all the elements the yakshas possess (except geo, but she was also talking about 5 regions and maybe each region ''belongs'' to one yaksha and she… forgot (?) to mention that geo yaksha… uhh idk)
