  1. Perhaps what they meant of "adults cannot dream" is more like the adults are prohibited to dream because it may indicate that the dream they are having is a vision of future disasters. Collei seems to be an adult in the present so why did she dream of Dottore with the burning tree? Idk man, I could be wrong though. Sumeru looks so interesting now. I can't wait to explore the new region!

  2. I like the contrast with the dreamers and the ones who can’t. I guess to Sumeru-ians dreams seems too unpredictable, unstable yet infinite, while logic does quite the opposite, it’s facts that’s always grounded and firm—almost like a tree. But inevitably, a firm tree will indefinitely sprout branches over a period of time. I think it basically reflects what was said about the sages and the civilians of Sumeru, it’s just facts that’s possibly based off fiction. I can’t wait for the story.

  3. Actually, archons don’t even have visions on them it’s usually how they are dressed you can actually tell so that’s the reason why she doesn’t have a vision because non of the archons have there visions on them

  4. uhmm.. why no one is noticing Nahida's hair? everyone keeps missing it, including this video lmao. For those who still fail to notice, Nahida has green gradient on her hair when her back was shown. Hair color gradient is something that only archons have…

  5. ayo what if we get some major fahrenheit 451 vibes, maybe the akademiya regulates and controls the whole system by manipulating records or even outright changing stuff in their archives just so they can have power over the people of sumeru?

this is just me going out on a limb here, but i actually kinda wanna see that kind of dynamic in sumeru; you know the saying that goes something like "the people of sumeru don't dream"? what if the akademiya is so focused on practicality and academic knowledge that they completely disregard the mental well-being on their citizens?

i dunno its just a lot to discuss and you'd have to have read the book to see where i'm getting at

  6. So far only Barbatos and Morax wore a fake vision in order to conceal their identity and not raise suspicion if they ever used their powers in the open. Raiden Shogun (since Baalzebul spirit is within the sword and not using her own body) didn't have to do that since was the reigning deity that everybody knew in Inazuma for 500 years. So if Nahida (no idea what's her archon/demon name) doesn't have one in her design that means that everybody in Sumeru knows why she can use elemental powers.

  7. You also forgot to mention that the mirages in GAA was made by Dendro Archon.

It was not the machine, but the Dendro archon exploring the place and finding these dreams

  8. maybe the machines are from celestia, since celestia is usualy the one guarding secrets in teyvat, and it looks like a more advanced version of the ruin contructs, which could mean that either celestial stole the technology khaenriah was using and improved on it, or the opposite and khaenriah stole the idea of the ruin constructs from celestia, and, the inverted pyramid has a core, which seems to be made out of a simmilar crystal to the one from the celestial nails in dragonspine and the chasm

  9. It does make sense if Nahida also doesn't has a fake vision since Sumeru peoples know her true identity, just like how Inazuman know that Ei is an Archon (but doesn't have any idea about the existed Twin Electro Archon)

As for Zhongli n Venti, both using fake vision to deceive their peoples as their story been told to their peoples
Venti fall in deep slumber @ dead…while Zhongli using the dragon as a decoy to make the people believe he is no longer alive

  10. One thing that I feel people are missing is that it was never stated that Rukkhadevata died 500 years ago. Kusanali became the Dendro Archon 500 years ago, but whether Rukkhadevata was her direct predecessor remains unknown. There may have been a third Dendro Archon between Rukkhadevata and Kusanali, which opens the door to a whole bunch of other questions and possibilities.

  11. The Archons don't actually have Visions. Venti and Zhongli's are fakes so people don't question why they can do elemental stuff. Ei has an Electro tattoo and various baubles with the Electro insignia, but no actual Vision. Ei is also often in the public eye, even when she herself did not mingle with her people all that much. Dendro Archon is probably more amongst the people, so there's no need for even a fake. Also there have been mentions of a 'Lesser' Kusanali, so Sumeru's Archon system might be something even more different than the first three we've met.
