I did these disguising as npc but with itto instead, its so funny bc he literally has white hair and a red horn and a very loud idle animation but most people just run pass him

My first Windtrace match of this year gave me two Russian Childes that tryied the NPC strat on Qingce village… they got captured in 10 seconds. Not very smart to sit nex each other on the tables. Managed to pull a W by doing the barrel in the roof strat and going invisible when the hunter was up there. He knew the general location of were i was after the character location reveal but couldnt figure out exactly where.
THE ALOY AHAHA
for the chasm's maw, I literally stood on the lamp pull thing as childe and the other two people got caught. the hunter didnt even find me when there were climbing up and they were on the same level and literally facing me(on the platform place).
it's funny how many people doesn't know aloy unless you played genshin for a long time or seen her demo
Oh this is why I saw an Aloy standing next to the NPC in the same map the other day, I found her pretty quickly. But it was so obvious I thought they were trolling, so I didn't catch any rebels who were chilling ten feet away from me for the entire round.
Except for Childe that didn't get my memo and took the favor even though I was chilling with Zhongli.
I think that Windtrace is a bad and overused event…. :/
I always never used a disguise during my windtrace playthrough, I simply blend in like a NPC, I wish that in the next windtrace there would be playable NPC roaming around the map

someone tried this npc trick while i was hunter but i captured them 1 second into the game because they were walking around in plain sight using klee with a seelie 😭

Me who has yet to play the windtrace as I have been into other rpg games lately. I love how the tradition still lives to this day, the good old blending into the crowd
i have a feeling the aloy strategy worked because you got recognised
illusionary beacon is the best, use it at high area when they come its easy escape
I kept using Zhongli when I'm the hunter cuz he's the tallest in my party
So he can run fast

me use collei in mansion map and just sit in bench alone and the hunter wlking past me many times still think I'm npc until he gets favor that I forced to move lol

There's one spot in watatsumi that actually felt like cheating.. the front door of that tower on watatsumi, change into a prop and climb up there.. i always get away by doing this.. it's like people doesn't look at their surroundings
