Caribert using his ability to weave ley lines and memory through the unfinished Loom of Fate within him placed himself in the memories of people in Vimara Village and manifested himself into what he could look like had he been able to mature using his father's likeness. Despite what happened he maintained his innocence and to leave something behind for people to remember him by even if that wouldn't last. He also made sure the Loom of Fate is completed despite knowingly helping the Abyss Order so he could use it to give all Hilichurls a brief moment of peace before he finally departs.

    He briefly had the power to alter the world and that's what he does with it. That says a lot that Caribert truly held no grudges for being cursed but more or less pity and still remained a good man to the end.
