Windtrace is back for the fourth time and in this event rerun, there are new mechanics to learn. First is the signaling device which the rebels must be able to repair or restore in order to win, and there are six of them across the map. The Hunter will have to capture the rebels twice before they get eliminated from the game, and while being detained for the first capture, other rebels can set them free.
This speedrun and walkthrough guide will show the right strategy in winning the Windtrace Version 4.6 rerun, whether as a hunter or a rebel to obtain all available rewards including primogems and other in-game resources. Some hiding spots and windward arts choices are better than others in different scenarios.

This is the first ever time i play windtrace and i feel so sorry for the people who played with me on the 1st round cause they had to tell that you could turn in to props after we lost

gonna be real, this version of windtrace feels like dead by daylight. ex-DBD player here – uninstalled after getting into genshin because i was so done with the game and its toxic community lmao
when i'm the rebel, either me or my teammates get caught first since the map is so small. i kid you not, we spawned right across the hunter. then when i'm playing as the hunter, i end up in a 3-person rebel lobby where they're all friends and most likely in a discord call with each other to tell everyone else what's going on. what an amazing feeling to get gen rushed in genshin 💀 in both cases, the timer for each match is painfully too short to get enough coins for rewards.

So what I'm getting from this video is that you have to wait for your elemental skill to recharge and press E while right next to the rebel to capture them? I swear that's not properly explained anywhere on the tutorial or any site I've found online, my first and only time as hunter I kept chasing this one person pressing any key I could think of (I guess E wasn't charged or I pressed at the wrong time) and I had no clue what I was supposed to do to catch them. Frustrating.

I fucking hate this mode. I clicked capture on the rebels multiple times and it went over them but it didn’t fucking capture them. I LITRALLY hate this game mode cuz imma loose either way. I hope they bring the old one back or not at all.
