They Can Just Go For 4 Character Banners And 2 Weapon Banners
My guess is that they will let us choose the characters you want to pull for, just like the selector in the current weapons banners? Just a logical guess 🙂

They should bring block option for 3rd 5* weapon we don't want on weapon banner..

There's just no way they will bundle 3 weapons in one banner. It doesn't make any sense
They should really just make the weapon banners the same as the character banners. Right now weapon banners are just so much worse.
Been playing on and off since 1.1 and I still have yet to do a single roll on the weapon banner

for some people who's waiting for too long for their desired character, triple banner is a good news! on the other side, if it is truly implemented on 4.5, starting on this patch every players MUST saved for their desired character because we don't have enough time to grind if we lose a 50/50 on the current patch because the character phase duration will be affected as well. If it is true, the starting on that patch, every f2p must think before they click on their gacha addiction. If you get my point.
edit: STAWP IT! i also love the triple banner thing because I’ve been waiting to finally C2 my zhongli and also get furina & neuvilette realquick, so don’t attack me
I just want rerun banner for Hunter's path (tighnari Sig weapon) I think in tripple banner, should remain paired with the 2 featured characters the 3rd character's weapon can be paired with other limited 5 star weapon with no character rerun like Tighnari and Dehya's weapon.
absolutely no way you think option 2 is more effective than option 1. triple phases is such a better option. in fact it has already been done before all the way back in 1.3 i believe. 1 week less time for each banner wont kill absolutely anyone and the weapon banners will remain fine. if you think 2 weeks will make you be unable to save up primogems then in fact 3 weeks is probably already too much for you.
3 phases of 2 banners is an infinitely better option than triple banner phases for 4 reasons:
1st: 4 star characters would rerun more frequently
2nd: "Players wouldn't have time to pull", yes we would. 7 days is basically negligable when you factor that characters will rerun basically twice as frequently now. Just save your primos.
3rd: Triple banners would make the weapon banner even more shit. Worst rates or not including one of the 3 weapons are both terrible ideas.
4th: It's much more difficult for f2p players to decide between 3 characters. When presented with a lot of options and little resources they would overthink it and feel discouraged to make a decision.
I'm not saying hoyo will do it, but 3 phases it's by faaaar the better solution
Hoyoverse has to be a joke smh the weapon banner? And their other games compared to Genshin. They need to change everything about currency and resins or I’m leaving.

3 characters with 2 patches is better than the 3 two character 14 day phases
Can't they just make the weapon banner pulls more like honkai light cone banner which are much much better

Faster rotations for characters is a good thing since you dont have to wait 8 months to a year for a character it benifits all f2p and whale people, 0 cons imo
If there are triple banners, they are doing be 2 banners 3 times a batch. Otherwise they would have to redo the whole weapon banner system. (They probably won’t go the HSR route which would be better for players)
Plus they have already done 3 banner slots in one batch with the Xiao-Keqing-HuTao weirdness way back when.
