I don’t know why I feel bad personally I think no matter how they act or what they do it should not affect there position or role because while we all feel happy the person who did something bad is getting karma but meanwhile they are just sad it’s not exactly fair I think what we should do is just send ever lasting hate and just hate on them forever but don’t remove their role and if they ever like do something revolving around a certain thing I think it’s best to just enjoy the game/movie and not the cast bc that’s just sorta stupid or just reduce their salary bc personally I really loved elliot it’s just sad and I know some other people feel the same to change my mind

Too what's funny is that people say to seperate va from the character but still use tighnari for the thumbnails, so in the end people who inorint on images easier and are still children, will most definetly associate the bad news with the image which is the character.
Well i had a reverse situation.. i was streaming genshin then 1 girl in the comments was saying like help help.. and i was like oh! Sure after playing i will.. so stream ended.. then i was messaged by the girl.. she introduced herself as she's a girl and she's 13 turning 14.. she kept asking for my pic and age.. in my head i said.. that's weird.. then i said.. i already have it on as my display picture.. and im 27.. she's like maybe you can't help me, and im like you should just tell me so i can tell you if i can help you.. over and over again to the point i was already getting annoyed..
Eventually she said "Actually my mom is at work and I am alone at home I am bored and I feel alone .." and I'm like okay.. we can talk for awhile.. if that's okay with you..
Then she said "I want you to help me with an rp " and I'm like "rp? What's that"
Then she says "rp means dirty roleplay" and i was shocked.. then i said.. oh.. i don't do that.. I'm sorry..
Then she said "please unfollow me" then i said "it's fine we can still be friends"
Then she said "no i don't want to be friends if you can't help me, i need someone who likes girls and who can help me" Then I said "sorry to disappoint you. Hope you find what you're looking for."

What he did was absolutely bad, not a sliver of doubt about that. But I don't think it is ok of people saying he is a pedo, as he clearly backed off immediately after getting to know the other person's age.
It’s disappointing because the voice fit tighnari so well, but the voice actor himself certainly didn’t deserve it.
The urgent solution has to come fast because the sumeru cast is in a new upcoming even in mondstadt so someone has to fill up the voicelines there.

I was so disappointed and frustrated when I found out. I really thought Tighnari was an amazing character, and Elliot’s voice for Tighnari was a good match (hopefully Tighnari’s new va is just as good or better).
At least he apologized for his terrible actions, and saw what he did was horribly wrong,(apology was pretty half-assed tho). I saw a couple videos on him and it was very terrible that he didn’t want his fame to be ruined. Never let fame get to your head. My heart goes out to the victims ❤
This is so awful and i can't express my disappointment in words , i genuinely thought he was a good person and i never expected such to happen. I really hope the victims can recover from all of this🙏
I really liked elliot. I used to watch his streams, enjoy stupid little clips and talk to some of his other fans. Hearing the news is something that, just breaks my heart.
I love nari, and I feel like he won't be the exact same with a different voice actor.
I'm not defending elliot in any way. But, why is it always the good people that do the stupidest things.

Honestly I'm not really someone who follow the VA on Internet neither look a lot into the Genshin Fandom despite loving the game however it's really a disappointment to hear what happened, some Online friend on Genshin told me about it and the only reason I'm sad about the change of voice is because I liked it, not really because I liked the VA behind it (since I follow only Aether VA on YouTube, I don't really follow any other VA aside from him.
Maybe Wanderer VA since he's my favorite character, then a bit of Lumine, Albedo, Xiao, Venti and Childe VA but not really on a level where I know all the rumors or truths about them and possible bad things they did, also if you are asking why I don't use their real names, some people don't know them so I use the characters name instead) but because I liked the voice.
I hope the new voice will be good and that the person behind the voice too will be normal.
Replaceing Tighnari's va must be a much more difficult than Oz's va due to his major roles in the main story and has a lot more voice lines…
Still can't believe that one of the VAs did this horrible thing. Working in this industry is a wonderful thing and shouldn't be a way to take advantage of others especially fans. Having said that, does anyone know how to apply for a VA in Genshin? I did some small projects before and I am really interested on joining their team.
