For this video, the idea somehow just came into my mind. I told Japser Hu and then we decided to do it. We spent almost half of the time to design the structure for this piece with different themes from Raiden Shogun and Scaramouche/Wanders. It was inspired from a lot of trailer video or cutscene. Letโs see anyone from comment would be able to get all the parts right ๐

It's like both themes are meant to be played together, the composer sure did it on purpose…
On a side note : do you use VST's? The piano sounds amazing and I always wondered what kind of software do you use, if you do so: VSL, Garritan, Noire, Pianoteq, something else?

0:42 – scaraโs 1st archon quest cutscene (the 3 betrayals)
1:16 – opening of raidenโs character demo
1:54 – scara character demo
2:19 – overlord of the thunderstorm (inazuma battle theme) but varied???
2:31 – scara gets his vision cutscene
2:44 – 2.5 update trailer, raiden boss part
3:12 – ominous fandango motif
3:30 – a little raiden motif (very sneaky)
lmk if i got any of the themes wrong!! Also, wonderful arrangement, got goosebumps at every transition ๐ฏ๐ฏ
lol that sudden modulation surprised me, i thought you were going to transition to that bit in the teaser that goes "Gb F C Db C" but instead you shifted to the demo music which was a really dramatic shift in contrast with the smooth changes in the other sections! One of my favourite arrangements by far so far, even better than the individual demo musics.
This is so creative! The transitions between the different parts of their themes are seamless and outline the parallels between Ei and Wamderer perfectly. If we ever get a cutscene of their frst meeting, I imagine the bgm to sound just like this.
The theme played when Wanderer got his vision was a mash-up between Sumeru and Inazuma's theme.
