For all the comments saying I didn’t finish the credits for some. I did. I just cut it out of the video because I thought I was gonna get hit with the copyright strike for the music. So don’t worry I finished every video to the end lol.
Apparently Mihoyo is okay with the music in this series and it won’t be a problem with later animations so I won’t cut it out anymore moving forward.
Also I embarrassingly went back to look at that Bronya x Seele moment again because it was so cute. The way she said Seele’s name and her mech friend responded was sweet. 😭 I’m actually gonna watch that again rn LMAO

After watching all the animated shorts you should totally watch the version/character trailers! They get way better and the music gets better and more diverse.

when u watch Everlasting Flames animation, watch it in japanese dub, others are great both in chinese and japanese but everlasting flames stands out more in japanese dub

I wish ther were an anime, there will be one connected to Genshin. Maybe this will get one, some day.
I really love the story, but hate the gameplay for it.
I hate it more than words can say. I'm going through it slowly, but I had to hook up a came controller JUST to play Honkai.
And still it's a gameplay I really have trouble meshing with.
But yeah, there is no anime. A lot of manga for it.
Also, someone likely told you already, but Hoyoverse (formerly: MiHoYo) is Chinese, rather than Japanese, which makes this more impressive to me because for a long time China did not excel at anime like this. But I really live Gendhin and the music/story for Honkai is good, as well.

It's a shame that you're not gonna play honkai, I would've like to see you reach a certain chapter.
I don't remember if I commented this before, but to recap.
There's something that links this game to genshin, beside being made by the same compeny, there's are chapter/arcs that explains it.
With this knowlege, when you look at Honkai, Star Rail and Genshin again, you'll understand.

Also, much of this should be far less surprising to you since you've seen the PVs.
The first two are the opening cutscenes, the first thing you see upon loading into the game. The first is the old one, the second is the current one. Both 'Reburn' and 'Bronya are non-canon, though. The rest are from climactic moments in the story, so you're still missing tons of context.
Just a mobile game created by a small Chinese mobile game company, BTW. Just kidding, they're a music company that happens to make games. And of course, they're no longer quite as small as they were when they made Fly Me 2 The Moon , their first game.
I don't know what I'm more pumped for: Bronya's and Mei's new battlesuits, Honkai: Star Rail , or Zenless Zone Zero . While others like Microsoft are looking to imitate Genshin 's success, Hoyo themselves just keep on keeping on.

btw seele is bronyas girlfriend theyve been thru it also for the cinematic where bronya got the core of reason, the singer singing the song is bronyas va and theres a honkai impact slice of life anime called cooking with the valkyries. takes place along side the game.

You're good on copyright. miHoYo doesn't flag their music and it's all done by them.
Oh and credit where it's due, miHoYo is Chinese not Japanese. miHoYo was founded by three guys that met in college at an anime club because they all loved Eva. They wanted to start a company to make anime games. That's why miHoYo stuff is extremely faithful to anime styles and tropes even though the people doing it are Chinese. Actually if you set their games to Chinese, the character lips sync up perfectly. The Japanese is a foreign dub for their games.
Some of these videos you watched were in Mandarin actually. The miHoYo voice cast is fantastic. Give them a shot in Genshin sometime! Hu Tao has the same voice as Kiana for example.
There are manga as well provided in English by miHoYo for free and they're fantastic. Second Eruption is a prequel and a masterpiece.
When you get to the video "Because of You" don't skip the credits.
You don't have to worry about copyright with Hoyoverse. They love the attention

Mei and Kiana are not shown to be in a relationship but it’s all but confirmed the feelings they share for each other.
Kiana amongst other things has called Mei “My other half”, “My bride”, “My better self”
Mei is known and her whole character arc has been her willingness to go any ends to save/help Kiana and in a key moment where she is making a deal to gain more power for the sake of helping Kiana it’s told to her “will you still help her even if it means you will never be able to see her again, that you’ll never be able to hold her or see her smile” showing the depth of their relationship to Mei and her love for Kiana when she takes the deal
Bronya and Seele both grew up in an orphanage together which is why Seele took to calling her Big Sister. Their relationship isn’t made clear, LGBTQ+ coverage is Chinese Media is a dicey situation especially when it comes to games let alone the nations foremost game developer, but in other cannon tie in media the two are seen kissing.
