I still have a lot of questions. One of the biggest, who's the best archer?
The constellation 0 limit doesn't make sense for 4 star characters; you'll have several constellations, those in the shop will quickly reach const 6.
I won't argue with your character tier list, but want to add for new players:
Genshin Impact is very easy combat-wise (top-tier Abyss being the exception); you barely ever need to optimize your team.
You usually can complete most challenges with the characters you like the most and have the most fun playing.
But I think you primarily think about the Abyss, right?
Because there is very little other content with time-limited combat.
P.S.: Personally I'ld play Qiqi in the comfort zone too, practically unlimited off-field healing even in coop and 100% free healing between fights without switching party members.

I think Kokomi is somewhere between comfort and necessity, because you kinda want her now in Freeze comps. Because other options are Xingqui, who is good, but solo targeting, Mona, who can go brrr, but has no healing/shielding abilities, so you need to retry every time you miss a freeze time and enemy hits you and Ayato, who… Wait, why did you add Ganyu, but didn't add Ayato? Anyway, he has to be in main spot, and not sub dps or support

Yeah… I know everyone praises Bennett – yet I can't see why that even is a thing. I have him on c5. Decently built and even with a five star weapon. Sure he boosts DMG a bit but certainly not by an ginormous amount lol. I'm even disappointed in using him by how little he does although well built. Instead I much rather put one more capable damage dealer in the team then giving a little boost to another character.

I dont pull for characters I need I pull for characters I want…thats why it's hard to not wish. They are all fun. And I'm using diluc melt with kaeya kazuha and c6 benny in abyss just fine so I dont need meta much…tho the video would have been useful if I watched it in earlier game. But I didnt even understand the gatcha system and just yeeted on every banner till I got Diluc on zhongli banner
I have xinqiu and my game completely changed after I got sacrificial sword. So I think he fits in the category of need a specific weapon to work, but it’s not a hard to get one
Whoever plays the Spiral Abyss knows Zhongli is a must have.
Just want to say that on top of being super helpful as a returning "hardcore casual" from when the game first came out, the editing in this video was absolutely fantastic 🙂
uhhm, ayaka is a clear choice to everything that can be sucked in by your anemo support is it 2/4/60 enemies it doesnt matter

now, if anyone has any advice for me on what i can do next do help me progress in the abyss (its hard but ive beaten floor 10,3 once – the op abyssal moon a week ago carried me), i'd really appreciate it! (f2p). ( i havent been very efficient with my resources D:)
i came back to the game after 2 years!() with only 30 days playtime around nahida's banner. i got her bc i really like the new dendro reactions, they seem to bring a good balance in options for f2p being em focused, and shes so sweet! (i cant farm her lvl7 talents bc i havent progressed in the story kek – should i speedrun it?)
i also have c1 keqing (…), fischl (not yet A4), sucrose c1, bennett c5, xiangling c3. And an r1 amos bow. i dont have xingqiu 🙁 since i had these characters/5star bow, i went for childe to form my international/national team, with aggravate keqing/nahida, for abyss.
other characters ive invested into partly in ascending order- beidou/barbara(holding ttds and instructor set)/layla ninguang/traveller(no talents lmaoo)/chongyun
im not sure whether:
i should spend my resin to 80/90 more of my characters(only keqing is 80/90), or begin farming artifacts for… well, who? (im AR 52). do i farm artifacts for my DPS, childe/keqing/xiangling/fischl? or my OP supports, nahida/sucrose/fischl? all my artifacts are copium af !! 🙁 i have 50 fragile resin, but it feels bad to use it in gacha artifact domains. do i max talents or weapons with these fragiles instead? or should i just separate all of my resin into each area of investment – this seems like the slowest way (like months) to be able to copium through the abyss tho and get like 50 extra freemos every 2 weeks (for kazuha and ganyu, have to skip raiden i think. she can offer me unga bunga and ER but i keqing has very spammable unga bunga)

Funny thing I would like to comment is when I'm playing my friends lower ar account, is her kokomi somehow become dps lmao. Both zhongli and kokomi damage is okay, not as good when compared to dps but then again they are support and comfort character. Having them on lower ar definitely help a lot since they still can't farm artifact so having immortality that early on is a boost
my benny isnt good anymore i didnt know that you shouldnt upgrade him to c6 and i did that already

3 crowned him and got his weapon on my 80 (+1) roll.. 81 rolls, lucky.. but today every other character is better.. i'll play yoimiya way to much.. 🙁 i still have some team combs with him but i slowly regret it.

I’m proud because 3/4 of my team characters are here: xingqiu, nahida and bennett 🙂 (beidou is the 4th one, lol) but yeah ever since I’ve got xingqiu, he’s never left my team, like ever, he carries my team and solos all 💗

I noticed something about pulls in this game. If you play often and you try to pull 5-stars you may or may not get one, but if you are like me and only play occasionally, when you log in after being logged out for a few months it SEEMS like the drop rate for good chars is buffed. I'm 2 for 2 with this. A long time ago I got ganyu by spending a lot of gems. It was when she was introduced and it was soon after I started playing the game, so after doing the trial with her she was so much better than others available that time. Not too long ago there was a ganyu re-run and I had logged in for the first time in months. I did a pull and got another ganyu on the first try. I had a few pulls for the standard card, did it, got kequing and mona. So basically within a span of 10 pulls I got three 5-star.
Just a fluke, right? That's what I thought….until last month, I logged in again after not playing for 4-5 months and did a pull on the yae miko card just to spend some left over gems I had. On the first pull I got yae, then I went to the weapon card and figured "eh, why not" and did a pull on there. I did about 2, and on the third I got miko's five-star weapon. I also got layla and more recently I got yanfei and her five-star weapon from the standard pull.
So either they buffed the drop rate for good stuff OR they try to lure you back in by dropping 5-star stuff after you log in to keep you logged in. That's my working theory. As for the video, I have most of the chars mentioned there. I have a C6 waterboy, C4 sucrose but I don't use them.
i know that he wasn't out when you made this, but if you've done Scara's trial run or pulled him, what are your opinions on him? i'm f2p, just reached ar 40, and i just got my first 5 star which is sadly diluc since i lost my scara 50/50. Should i keep pulling for him or save up for raiden
definitely makes traveling a lot quicker and he has a good elemental skill and burst, plus the infusion thing

At the first stage of the game Bennett before was a waste to have but later on players realized that he provides a good significant attack boost and heal. I think it was abyss 7 that players started to do nuke damage using childe, sucrose, mona, and benny boi. And for xingqu he was discovered when he was paired with diluc because they were so good at doing vape damage. Until now xingqu is paired with all pyro characters because he provides a good hydro application.
I think Eula was a still overpowered. But now Yae Miko and Nahida are ridiculous together. Just add Kokomi or Barbara and you’re buffing them all.
I’m just beginning, I have no idea what team to build. But I did get venti,fishel,suclose tho in my first few pulls
why isnt yelan on the list? she is objectively the best off field dps in the game, she doesnt need constellations and her c1 is her best one for f2p players anyway, she is somewhat versatile, she doesn't need anything but another hydro for the resonance, her best weapon is favonius bow, and shes about as futureproof as sub dps characters get. its a crying shame you didn't include her
Im new to the game started mid November, lost my 50/50 on Nahida for Jean, right now I feel like my team is comfort team, I run Kaeya, Lisa, Benett and Jean, i have a 60 pity on the Traveler banner, do you think I should save till, Shogun probably being next banner in 2-3 months ?
Barbara Is my most important character because of healing and the fact that I require hydro for most reactions.
Raiden can hit like a truck if your able to invest enough time into her(Or money) even at C0 she's stupid strong, however at C2 She's terrifying.She essentially becomes the Electro Goddess of Deletion. The Battery option is just adding the Marshmallow smores on top. The fact we now have 4 or 5 4* weapons that are really really good on heris just making the fact even C0 Raiden is a walking talking unstoppable force of nature. Also fun fact if you own either Raiden or Wanderer and head to the mountains they don't breath out cold air unlike every other character the reason for this that both are Not Human, a funny little attention to detail on HoYo's part.

raiden needs to remain as strong as she is considering that damn fight we are put through with almost no react time
edit: forgot to mention but if you build her specifically, Noelle is a beast that makes a mockery of content if you know how to abuse her (in other words build defense on her and play her as an on field dps)

There isn't a lot of the hardest content in Genshin Impact and the game is switching out of powerful characters and giving value to variety

Xiangling = Pyro Archon

indeed, Zenless Genshin Star Rail Impact Zero 3rd is the best game ever.
i got something to say though.
If you play on mobile phones, Ganyu or any Main DPS bow characters are NOT viable at all.
DO NOT pull for bow characters if you are a mobile player unless they are off-field utility/DPS.
I feel like I have some good characters, but I'm bad at team comp and artifact assignment, so I struggle with the abyss combat.
