The redesign was pretty much necassary. The old one was bland and came from a time when hoyo didn't quite know where they were going. Not many people outside of his simps would've pulled for him. Me thinks atleast.

I loved the puppet details he had in his precious design like the joint in his hand, but now he looks like he has a human body? im not too sure, maybe Im just blind 😅
The first time that i've seen kaveh, i thought he is the older version of aether.
While I think the TCG is a good idea, let's be honest, people didn't start playing Genshin to play "Gwent the gathering DX". They started playing Genshin for the characters, art style, music, interesting combat, exploration, etc. An anime style action rpg gacha game. I'm sure the card game will be fun enough but it isn't a substitute for an actual end game.

Even though I am not really that waiting for scara, I feel the excitement of the genshin community especially the scara wanters as Mihoyo drip market him. Even myself was surprised that he is an anemo holder. Still, love his design.
For those who don't know, Scaramouche being Anemo is reminiscent to Raijin-Fuujin, 2 japanese deities, Raijin mean god of lightning/thunder which is Raiden Shogun or in this case Shogun Doll and Raijin in the folklore have a brother called Fuujin meaning God of Wind. Raiden Shogun "brother" Is Scaramouche as he is created before Shogun doll so yeah, Scara is Anemo.
Adding with Bohemian Rhapsody, with that "Where the wind blows"

To be honest, i wasn't surprised when I've saw Scara as an Anemo character, remember the Scara backstory cutscene we got on archon quest? When I've saw that he had a dear friend that he lost and was very emotional about it i was "huh, that sounds like almost every anemo character, weird" but now i know he actually is anemo, so like, unexpected but kinda expected? XD
for additional info Yuma Uchida (Kaveh JP va) is the younger brother of Maaya Uchida (Fischl's JP va), happy to see Uchida siblings can work in the same place together hahaha

Electro was his delusion element I think, because a part of him wanted to be like Ei.
Wasnt surprised about him not being electro. Using childe as the example, his black clothing is when he is using his delusion. Scara was always seen in his dark clothing, so his delusion must be active, making the delusion electro and his default element something else.

Ashakai made a theory about Scaramouche being anemo back in I believe 2.1-2-3. She has forever been obsessed with him and figured it out by referencing the gods which Ei and Scaramouche are related. Forget exactly who but the one Scaramouche is related to is a god that carried around a bag of wind. I would go look up the original video for accuracy but I can't for the life of me remember the exact video title.
Scaramouche straight abandonned razor and changed to anemo cause he didnt want anything to do with electro oneesans
