Having new 5 star characters releasing is always very exciting and fun. But Nilou seems to be a super unique character with her playstyle but also being very very niche. What are your thoughts on this topic?

Nilous passive is perfect for me, I can use her, kokomi, yelan, and then dendro traveler

I've played since Day 1 and cleared the abyss since 1.2. Niche is not a problem anymore since the content in this game is very easy. Just play who you like and Niche units are more fun to play anyway cuz they bring something new to the game than the same play style as pyro=vape carry, cryo=freeze carry, hydro=enabler/healer, electro=burst dps.
The two dendro is kusanali and traveller. Kusanali is gonna make traveller drop mad fuckin cores that nilou can proc. Although u can substitute with collei instead. Not as much dmg but still pretty nice.
Dude. It’s if the party is only hydro/dendro, meaning 1 hydro and 3 dendro or 3 hydro and 1 dendro work as well.
Mono hydro with a dendro for bonus blooms sounds p nice to me
Honestly I can't help but think that mihoyo/hoyoverse slapped us with meta character such as Hu Tao,raiden,ECT a little early in development so now we're kinda getting I guess lots of niches as hoyoverse scrambles to develop more characters without becoming unoriginal and predictable

I believe it just needs to be a party entirely comprised of hydro and dendro, Not 2 hydro 2 dendro
Tbh genshin is so easy that you can ignore stage buff, abyss buff and event buff and most team would still be able to clear. If Nilou team comp is strong enough, it's pretty easy to negate that niche aspect of only being able to use bloom. Not to mention that so far normal bloom have been pretty amazing for mob clearing.

I wwanted to get her as my first official hydro character (who isn't Barbara or Xingqiu) but then I learn she need MORE hydro? Yeah I'll pass this time.
Not to mention Kusanali is after her and I don't have the characters necessary to run her properly, lest I wanna bring an unbuilt collei, Barbara, and Dendro traveler to a team
meta slaves gonna hate this, definitely pull her for waifu reasons
she might be very niche, but i like how mihoyo did not make her kit according to meta. most of the hydro teams we have in the game rn are needed for vape/freeze comps. So i like where they were going with nilou
I play for the characters, not the numbers. Sure my Tartaglia can hit 200K on a great build I put effort in, but thats it for actual decent build I actually wanted to put in effort. Plus the team comp I have now for SUMERU may get me canceled on Twitter, replacing Ajax in my party for Nilou is A ok with me honestly
i like her appearance a lot, but thinking of that she has to work with the dendro related reactions, im kinda sad.
ehh, I might just make her physical dmg if the whole team thing is annoying
Her best team comp is probably going to be kokomi, kazuha, kusanali dw

Though I do agree, she does need a specific team but I believe the characters really do shine individually and if you've done the math right she does the most C0 damage than every other character in the game. A total of 600k in 24 seconds! And it gets better when fighting two enemies! A total of 1.2 million!

I looked at her leaks and imo her animations are pretty but boy I feel like using them in combat would just feel terrible and garbage like only a 3 hit attack chain and it’s pacing just feels so bad
