  1. Come on. No one was complaining about german words not being pronounced correctly. Instead of Immernachtreich it sounded like Immernacktreich (from always night kingdom to always naked kingdom… I wish I was joking) and like… Thats a huge mistake but at least a funny one.and idk how long I was thinking Fischl was from a weird kingdom called Diferurteiling until I realized what she is supposed to say. Its literally so dumb

  2. I mean, the closest thing we English speakers can get is "Tig-nari", so I do wish they'd do it that way, but if they're being instructed it's not like they can do anything about it.

  3. Then pronouncing Chinese name wrongly: it's fine Chinese is hard to pronounce

Them pronouncing other language name wrongly: AW F*CK NAWH PRONOUNCE IT CORRECTLY OR DON'T BE VA AT ALL

  4. Can i just say how weird Tig looks? Feels like they just tossed everything together and then colored him with every color in the box. Idk maybe his design will grow on me or he'll be an ok unit and i will care less eventually.

  5. i think people have to realise that even though genshin’s regions are based off of real life locations it’s a fantasy game with a fantasy world that’s clearly different in many ways from real life

  6. As a bilingual I understand how difficult it is to pronounce foreign names especially when you haven't learnt how enunciations in other languages work. All the VAs have been butchering liyue char names and that's perfectly fine. It's honestly up to you whether you want to pronounce it accurately to the language since it is so difficult to just learn a new language from scratch when we are older.

  7. As an arabic speaking person, I know that this name has letters that are not present in english. I mean, they butchered chinese names before, and they will the arabic/indian ones too. They do not speak our language so it's fine. Please, non native speakers, just don't make a fuss about that while pretending to be offended on our behalf. Most of us also butcher english when we try to speak it. So let's consider it a tie-nari!

  8. tbh I find it funny when these people call out the va's as if they (the person in question) can't pronounce chasm (pronounced as Kasm, not CHasm) or other simple words like Tartaglia (Tartalia not TarTAGlia) or Ningguang (Neengguang) or Shene (Shenhe not Shenhee) or Yun Jin (Yun Jeen not Yun Jin) etc [I belive my pronouncations of those are correct but feel free to tell me if they arent]

  9. Oh you wanna play like this Twitter ? Ok, I hope i you don't pronounce "Jean" as the fucking cloth, it's a French name, so pronounce it as in French
I'm looking forward to being in Fontaine to see all these french namesbeen burchered by english players
Sale with character from Inazuma and Liyue

And how do you pronounce names from Sumeru ? It's a place inspired from countries going from Egypte to India, there are multiple languages in this area, how do you from which language "Tighnari" is from ?

  10. I'm getting ready to hear all the Sumeru characters or most have their names butchered cause I know that some sounds in Arabic and the letters corresponding don't even exist in latin based languages. And I butchered Liyue names that are inspired from Chinese culture XD it's ok

  11. I don't think it's a big deal to pronounce tighnari wrong, bcz I'm aware not everyone is able to pronounce arab letters lmfao.. Also people pronounce tartaglia, hu tao, ayaka and ayato wrong so like it's not new

  12. This why Twitter most of the times can be too toxic . Man, the VA just happy to announce his work but get hurtful comments instead. It's not solely his fault for the "wrong" pronounce , he just follow the voice director basically and the main genshin company also okay with his work.
I hope the VA is doing okay and not turn into depression or whatever.

  13. Are we come to the era of pronouncing something differently is going to get cancelled? My god dude if that’s the case everyone should get cancelled for pronouncing other names outside their native language. This twitter obsession are so fucking retarded

  14. Im glad these arent the most popular of posts/opinions. While i might be slightly bothered by the mispronunciation, i would NEVER blame the voice actor, they just say the lines, they dont get to decide exactly how their said. And if anything, hoyoverse probably allowed a more english/improper pronounciation since many of the va's would probably struggle with pronouncing the names correctly and consistently without a lot of prior practice

  15. Honestly Tighnari is a very exotic name, I would be surprised if there was a "right way" to say his name and if native English speaker can physically do it. Also, as a voice actor, it must be surprising to learn that the person who got the role for the JP voice of Tighnari is a woman, that's very interesting (not the first time it happens, but still)

  16. I’m genuinely not sure what is the right pronunciation of the name, btw the arabic community of genshin are also debating about the pronunciation lol

  17. I do not see it as a big deal. I have a Polish last name I pronounce in an American way and when around Polish people I pronounce it in Polish. It is like Józef and Joseph. I bet the people getting mad are not even middle eastern. As long as it is consistent it is fine.

  18. i think that a persons name is still their name despite how it is said like my name is said improperly compared to how it is prperly said. The pronuncation is correct based on what the person who has the name says it is despite whether it is the original or different pronuncioation

  19. Every single one of your videos is just you going over a tweet with only 20 likes from some 15 year old, all while playing either Genshin or Risk Of Rain 2 with the skill and grace of a fucking journalist from Polygon.

Or is it twt in general? I don't really interact with people, I'm just there for hentai arts, laughing at clearly insane political takes, and occasional hot cosplay photo.
