I actually traveled from the glitch place to liyue, and actually did this before. There are some pits that scared me lol. Also a tip, try turning time around to see how deep you are within the ocean to prevent floating back up.

Me and my friend actually used a glitch to go from stormbearer point to liyue harbor underwater sadly the glitch got patched but we took some screenshots of interesting areas

The patches of white aren't snow, they're salt deposits! It makes sense bc you'll find some near sal terrae (zhongli quest goes more into it).
