The livestream was a farce, but honestly, it's just another one in the series, we have had quite a few disasterous lives at this point. From now on, I will only watch the replays on Youtube. This is unfortunate, but Hoyoverse lack professionalism when it comes to the technical aspect of things.
About leaks, yup, it's wild…but more and more, when it comes to gacha games, I'm all for it. Doesn't prevent the companies to make millions and millions, and give something to look for for the players, since the game lacks non-grinding repeatable content (Labyrinth Warrior, where are you, dammit?)
And finally, about the skin tones…well, it was alas forseeable, I didn't want to read too much when most Sumeru NPCs were white-skinned, but at this point…we're getting a mostly white-skinned India/Middle-East…as a white man, that's annoying. I enjoy diversity in my virtual words, detached from all the real-world's stupidity, when it makes sense of course. In this case, dark skins made perfect sense. I'm not mad, I'm disappointed. Another great creative team's work being scuffed by political/marketing intereference.

The fact that even a character‘s kit (a unit that is not even suppose to come out in the near future) got leaked is just wild. We never had something like this, I seriously wonder who has access to all this.
I'm from middle east, and NGL i feel really disappointed and offended to see characters that are supposed to represent my region being a bunch of pale furries and Lolies.
It is kinda disappointing seeing only one character from sumeru with a dark skin tone
I never minded it before because the other regions are based on countries that have a majority of white skin people
But sumeru is based on middle east
As an Arab most of us are at least slightly dark skinned
My skin tone is close to that one character in the pic with the others
So i expected more characters to look like that 🙁
With the skintones it’s obviously the half of Sumeru (the rainforest) meaning they won’t have as dark and tanned skin as the the people in the desert. That’s the only part I’m going to add with that but I’m so excited with sumeru after seeing everything! Live was amazing too
all the characters leaked look aweful from a design perspective . genshin is lacking creaticity and literally just reskinning characters at this point . the game is dead .

I’m good with spoilers and I enjoy them too but that’s too much spoils. They could’ve just showed one or two but they showed a lot and that just doing to much and kinda it sucks.
The developers work hard and having 7 characters leaked all at once would probably suck for them as developers and story writers who are trying to create a surprise or twist to the gameplay.
I hope the spoilers tone it down a bit so players can still wonder what the character might look like.
I think because of this leak, designers will have time to edit characters like they did with kokomi with the nam change and style etc, also no sight of yao yao who has been in official art
they are still under dev so they are prolly up for change and dark skinned they are expecting too much and taking it too far. Sumero may have a desert but that desert is connected to the natlan nation that is with the pyro archon. And in the comic characters from natlan have darker skin tone than others. and you know there is one character that has been teased since the first trailer which isn't in the leaked ones. But sumero gives more of elf vibes animals and etc

I feel like hoyoverse is allowing the game plays and models to be leaked, I mean the leaks are getting a lot of attention and they are getting lots of feedback. It’s weird that they’re staying quiet when In the past they found the leakers and punished them. Maybe they’re using leaks as a new thing.
