Something really weird is going on with Kamisato Ayato and Attack Speed… In this video, I explore a couple techs and demonstrate a lot of different attack speeds. One could say Ayato is literally Bobaroken (AKA Broken).

  1. Honestly all this attack speed increases really makes me wish there was an artifact, or sub/main stat on artifact that could increase attack speed. Of course adding more stat variations decreases the chance of people getting the stat they want, but it also decreases the chances of getting the stats you don't want as well.

  2. just how does his dmg get to 924k at the thumbnail and at the end tho, that is fkin high for a 1 hit from E,
    is it C6 R5 Ayotto or sth?

    Ayotto's own Q and E buff to AA, his const + bouken Q + Kazuha buff (prolly full EM) + Klee C2 def debuff + vape reaction

    typically 30k-40k slash spam turns into ocassional 924k and prolly 60k-80k dmg inbetween them slashes?

  3. It looks like this game does probably calculate attack attack speed enhancements as a geometric increase (i.e. the percent increase in the number of hits is (1/(1-X))*100%, where X is the sum of your attack buffs, expressed as a decimal)

Ayato has this bug that, he has a chance to increase the amount of slashes over the time of his elemental skill, finishing the slashes 4, 3 or even 2 secons before his elemental skill is back up, so this bug basically makes his elemental skill longer, not 6 seconds, but 7, 8, or even 9 seconds long it's cool, but hoyoverse will fix this in the 3.0, basically nerfimg him, kinda sad for us the ayato mains, enjoy him while u can…

  5. When i used Chongyun's E with 8% attack speed buff I accidently perform 29 slashes?! I was doing a bounty hunting boss that time .
    Right now i can't do it ?! :/ im hella confused. I literally develop this new hobby which is counting Ayato's Slash every time i use his E

  6. Oh, so THIS is why we got that notification a few days ago about them needing to fix a "fundamental logic" bug with Ayato's Elemental Skill lasting twice as long as it should.

    Seems like a pretty big one, since the notification also says it won't be fixed until 3.0. Really funny to stumble on a video explaining it today; I was wondering! XD

  7. So, with the potions event, you could get up to over 200% attack speed. However, the boost starts to get smaller at 63% and nearly completely disappears at 163%.

  8. I have a feeling that the slashes, if it slashes on the moment the timer hits 0, it extends the timer to complete the slash, but with a little bit of room after, which with the right attack speed can continue the slash, until it eventually desyncs…

  9. Hey IWTL, you don’t have to continuously tap to attack with Ayato if you are in his skill. You can just hold down the button as I’m you are doing a perpetual charged attack

  10. I think they spoke about the bobaroken slash, I think it is related to the framerate that it bugs Ayato’s skill duration. My recommendation is to not build teams revolving the bobaroken slash, because I think the place where they mentioned it (cant remember if it was an announcement in twitter or one from the ingame bug fixes section) they were planning on fixing it by 3.0 so regardless of what it is it’s not gonna stay with us for very long

  11. Oddly I actually had the boba-roken slash occur in his demo. I'm not sure how many slashes occurred, but it was quiet evident he was extending well beyond his normal burst duration. I actually fumbled through his kit to see if I could identify why it would be longer (vs shorter) and came to the conclusion he's bugged
