The Unfortunate Fate of Paimon | Genshin Impact Theory

This Genshin Impact Theory video will detail the unfortunate fate of Paimon. Paimon is without a doubt an essential piece of the puzzle to the story of Genshin Impact. But what could happen to our loveable mascot at the end of the game? I will attempt to uncover the end of Paimon using references from Genshin Impact, Honkai Impact 3rd and Honkai: StarRail.

There are many foreshadowing already hinted within the game of Genshin Impact about the Paimon being separated from the trailer. From Dialogues, Events, World Quests and even within the Archon Quests ever since the beginning of the game. But if Paimon were to separate from the Traveler… Why? What is the reason? And what are some of the connections we can make within the game?
All this answered in this Genshin Impact Theory.

Genshin Impact Patch, new update, new Story Quests and world quests. Paimon, new archon quests, new events. Is Shenhe good what about Yunjin? When will we get more, awesome super, story quest that gives us more information about the lore of Genshin Impact? This is not a high damage, one shotting bosses video, although they are cool. Memes are also super funny. But the story and lore is the one of the best aspect in this game. Looking forward to Sumeru when it finally releases.

  1. At the begining of each bp, we get this shitty story about a princess that became evil, that evil bitch is what we meet in the begining and where we're headed, doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out what paimon is

  2. I always felt like Paimon might be a seelie instead of the unknown god, they might still have some sort of connection but still it would be weird if seelie's were just a way to find more treasure and that's it. The Traveler even makes a comment on them and says that they feel kind of sad when they touch the treasure.

Also if the gods of Celestia are from a different world, is it possible that the unknown god or some other god in Celestia was the Traveler that the seelie was separated from during the moon sisters incident?

Side note, if she does disappear does that mean during the last boss fight we will be unable to access the inventory?

  3. ok genshin impact theory
there is a voice line that says paimon is the god of protection
her eng va confirmed it is not a joke and it is real
and you know the ongoing joke that paimon is emergency food
and we use food as buffs, right?
so maybe one day we will go against the seven archons or the final unknown god or some final boss at the end of the game
paimon will sacrifice food at the time of an emergency so therefore, she will be emergency food.
    paimon will die.
    paimon will forever protect us
ill be sad if she dies though

  4. my little theory is that when abyss order and fatui started being bigger threat for celestia, the unknown god "awakened" us and created paimon. And paimon task is teaching us about this word and make shure that we stay on the path of stopping abyss and fatui [I`m not saying that she is evil]

  5. The actual ending will be you find out the gods of Teyvat are truly evil and join the other Kingdom your sister rules over, while your sibling, loses her memory due to reasons and finds Paimon in the water and you end up in an endless cycle.

  6. I think its pretty obvious Paimon is connected to Celestia. And with Enjou mentioning that she might betray Traveler one day, I think Paimon is a god of Celestia. Not the sustainer herself (but its possible they might be one in the same) and she will be forced to betray Traveler one day. I'm waiting for the moment in game when someone is suspicious of her. Even Dainsleif and the Abyss sibling don't seem to think there is anything odd about her appearance. I mean she has a halo for crying out loud. Which is why I think she is a fallen god of Celestia, in a weakened state. Possibly a pawn for the sustainer.

  7. Thinking about it, another instance in the game of this is also with Albedo and him having someone that is an antagonist but looks exactly like him. While I don't expect that to be the case with Paimon's potential other half of herself obviously, I do believe that through this and Albedo's other connections that the game is warming up slowly up to this idea as well.

  8. I've picked up on a lot of these potential hints and red herrings with Paimon, according to the interaction at the end of Enkanomiya main quest, she'd never turn her back on the traveler either… I mean, that could totally just be miHoYo reinforcing their bond without any intention of breaking it, but who knows.
