It's like.. Not something you'd notice on the first go at it. But rewatching it can sure make it obvious.

I pulled Itto before doing his quest and got him.
And then I did the quest and felt the need to pull for him again as if I never pulled him 😩
This was the very first time Genshin actually made me cry <3
In Itto’s defence, his beetle lost but he did last a lot longer.

I already loved Itto's character and personality before doing this quest, but now he's managed to make it onto my top 5 favorite characters list
Legends say that the beetle is still on his back.
Remember people, a Big Muscular Man who loves to play with kids is definitely a keeper
Basically he’s an idiot and we love him for that.
At first I didn't want Itto all that much, cause on paper he seemed like another wannabe delinquent who actually isn't which Is a trope I'm just sick of. But after this quest, I'm quite glad that in my attepmts at just getting Gorou, I accidentally got Itto's C1 in 1 ten pull. Sadly that means probably not gonna be able to get Shenhe (F2P reasons) at least I got his weapon which I got by accident trying to see if I can get Fischl's bow in a 10 pull)
Anyway love your quest playthrough and reactions cause I tend to also really react very emotionally to stuff. And I did shed a few tears in this quest xD

Itto has that Pyro Passion in a Geo Vision 😀
Itto is such a great character, lovable, goofy and pure hearted! Fun fact: Takuya’s VA also voiced Kazuha’s friend. Plus I’d like to think Itto and Takuya became besties after they got out of jail.

Since I'm seeing no one mentioning this, I'm gonna say it right here.
WHY DO I FEEL LIKE SANGO HAS FIGURED EVERYTHING OUT MORE OR LESS RIGHT FROM THE GET GO?
Most people in Inazuma think the Crimson/Blue Oni is only a fairy tale. Most people can't distinguish the differences in the horn's color. Even Itto himself didn't know that the Blue Oni clan is still around. Most people around the town automatically think of Itto when talking about an Oni.
And then there's Sango suddenly talking about a Blue Oni out of nowhere…

I've been wondering for some time now. Who's the branch master of Inazuma's Adventurer's Guild? I thought it was Furuya at first 😀
Not only is triggering his allergies 'mean', it's downright potentially homicidal. This part of the quest bothered me a lot. You better believe I tried other ways of doing this without using the beans, but the game really wants us to be the bad guys. I hope the younger players DO NOT think that doing something like this is okay. You can kill someone.

This is the 5th time I've watched this story quest. 15/10 would cry again. WILL cry again
Itto said that red and blue oni are the same family, they just paint their horns different colors "to show which side they belong to". So if they can choose their side, and if Takuya doesn't like life of a blue oni, then why won't he simply paint his horns red? Hmmmmmmm.
