Funny you mentioned fontaine and natlan. I literally left genshin coz natlan pissed me off. There were zero characters I was interested in and guess what, they force you to pull for them in order to easily beat some bosses coz they are significantly harder to beat without the nightsoul mechanic. Then there are other issues. They used swahili in their music. I speak swahili and unfortunately I was able to understand every word in their songs hence the massive grammatical errors didn't miss me. Like seriously, I was kind of annoyed that a massive billion dollar company did not have the decency to contact the native speakers but rather used a translator who does a job that oddly enough, Google translate does better. It seems nitpicky, especially to people who don't know much about African culture, but swahili is a language I speak every day. They used my mother's name for one of their characters( wanjiru) yet they don't respect any of us in general.
Fontaine is my favourite region but I can't stand natlan at this point. I'm done with genshin. I might peek in during sneznaya release in 6.0, but otherwise, I'll just stick to star rail

After a few months genshin will hit a wall, cause most players now are ready for Natlan finale, and after lantern rite the last flames of hype will go out. And more people now are done and will quit soon it apllies to old players, even loyal ones, my friends who are moving into other games. But we will get finally 300 more artifact slots, which i waited for years so more login to burn resin to drop and log out. 5-15 min of game daily and no willpower to do any other content in it, and old unfinished stuff is stacking.

I dont care whatever happens in Genshin. I left Genshin for Wuwa. I still play Genshin sometimes just a little, but I will never spent one cent on that. I let that to their blind followers that love Genshit regardless of how much it sucks.

It's predatory actions like this that caused me to quit this game so long ago. Honestly it's more like buying yugi-oh card packs from back in the day. but way to dam high priced and way too low of odds on getting your focused desired reward. Frankly they need to change up the mechanics for character banners and that is a mechanic that recognizes when you have a character that has achieved the ability to activate c6 and removes those said characters from your personal drop list so that your always upgrading from your pulls. Either that or remove the ability of equipment dropping on character banner. Until something to these effects are enacted I have zero intent of turning my genshin file back on that's for sure.
