Well, as the title says, Snezhnaya won’t be the next region we fully explore—at least not the way most of us were expecting.
In this video, I’m going to break down why we’ll have to wait until Version 7.0 for the full Snezhnaya experience and what exactly we can expect in Version 6 instead. There’s a lot to unpack here, from new locations to story developments and even some surprising character updates.

Personally, I think a patch cycle expanding on all the other regions of the world sounds fantastic. I'm in no particular rush to get to Sheznaya, and getting to expand the world at large has me much more excited.
They’ve had the story set up to stretch for years and I’m not mad that they’re dividing up the content bc it feels like we’re getting new stuff more regularly than getting it all at once I wanna enjoy the story content as long as possible before we get to end game point

It is a bit taking long but on the other hand I would love genshin to continue on. I enjoy the game. The events and the story. I kind hope that genshin won't end at shneznaya yet :>
There's no question about it, we definitely are stretching the Game's content but here's the thing, not everything is a "stall tactic". Just being fed the center piece eventually gets boring. Its easy to jump the gun and say "its all just a money tactic" duh there's always something about money, Hoyoverse is a business after all. Let's not act like they haven't been milking the entire Hoyo franchise for so long now. It's not always about profit this profit that.
And besides, this is a good move, flesh out the world and story, add new characters and previous ones already revealed as playable, add some more expansion to the current map to complete the map, and we're even going back to the previous nations IF LEAKS ARE TRUE.
And no, I don't get to hear those opinions about "genshin story is trash tho" because its not and the story is just not for you and you dont get to rage bait about it. The game is clearly not catered for those kinds of players. Either way, this is indeed a calculated move to stretch the game a little bit more, add new characters and map expansions and more. This is an overall good move. We also don't have any guarantee if the story or the game will just abruptly end after Snezhnaya or Khaenri'ah but for sure we're getting more after them, we just do not know what is going to happen after those areas come out.

as a Russian, i am SO EXCITED to be able to understand all the names and intended meanings of places, people, and objects in Snezhnaya. i just can't wait 🫶🫶🫶

Ngl even if genshin starts to delay things, i honestly don't care as i like genshin to stay atleast as long as I'm alive cuz it's basically my favorite game and ending it's storyline would make it more boring cuz there's literally nothing to do other than collecting characters but at the same time how are we gonna collect characters if our exploration is already 100% 💀
Personally i don't find this frustrating at all, this way, they can deliver harbingers in a more balanced and effective manner.

Nod Krai being an autonomous region, separated from the mainland is just Kaliningrad
It feels like the future of genshin may set in other worlds outside teyvat
ykw I'm not even mad about it cos it just means Snezhnaya will be full of lore and hopefully a huge jump in story quality, lore, characters and regions from Natlan. the only downside is that characters may get mischaracterised more than they are. It would keep us on our toes wondering what will happen in 7.0 and is a good marketing strategy from hoyo so we keep playing to find out what will happen etc.
If they wanted to extend the lifespan of the game then y r they ending natlan in 5.7 ? It also broke the sequence
I think this is also a good opportunity for mihoyo to "re release" their old characters into new version of them as new characters. Like 5* version of Lisa or new look and new gameplay of keqing, just like how other gacha games did

To be honest Im excited to enjoy his fresh experience NGL it would be dull If the last archon quest region was the same as the others also next it's Khaenriah and Celestia so Snezhnaya is the end of the Archon quests I think there's more ahead

I get what you are saying, but really isn’t Snezhnaya kind of like the bridge to the finale? We still have Khaenri’ah, which was promised to us in the Teyvat chapter to be the final place we will go. I would imagine that because of that, we can expect that Snezhnaya will be taking this time to really make the end game expansive and top tier.
We're soon getting Pyro Traveler and now cryo traveler interesting. Well it's good we've directly jumped into the main city. We've to wait patiently for Sneznaya, A better story always comes with patience. I'll be waiting patiently🗿. Love your vid's 💙✨

I personally don’t mind waiting longer for the main part of snezhnya because i am gonna be super duper sad when genshin’s story comes to an end. I don’t see it at them dragging it out, I see it as them creating the most interesting story possible and not skipping over any details or bits of lore of characters.
If alice doesn't become playable, it's most likely she'll have an NPC looking character

And maybe its just that they need more time bc they want Sneznaya and its quests to be the best from all regions also i think that the new areas before Sneznaya realise is good idea as if the Sneznaya quests will be all over teyvat adding more interesting places just makes sense. And one more thing, Hoyo never gave us the realise date so it was practically never been delayed.

I started freshman year of Highschool when this game came out and am currently on a gap year I swear this game will prob take all of college to finish considering we still have the story with the heavenly principles and at least 1 or 2 more elements after cryo to be added and all the locations after we get past the fake sky
From a business stand point, I agree and it is valid.
Although, i think an update like this is due. With getting new teased and antecipated regions and characters, without shifting focus from the main region. Alongside they taking time to polish the story and mechanics, and even perfecting the characters and their kits.
Although with the purpose of milking us, tbh I want that the game i love is as perfect and cohesive, and enjoyable.
I mean, i think it's for the better this move. Snezhynaya is one of the final arcs and the most important one too. It will be 7.0 or something for snezhnaya to be released. And after that. There might only be khaenriah or other nations filler patches and afterwards the teyvat chapter is over and the game will fall off ( if they don't make a part 2 like in honkai but it will be harder for hoyo to write a story ) the side regions will give us more time to enjoy the game before everything ends.
