Minor thing about hyperbloom and demdro reactions in general, they are good at low investment levels but gets significantly worse as investment goes up. Hence why most top clears dont include many dendro teams. So its not all that overpowered as some people think.
Also, even after all these buffs, hoyo decided why not release another broken unit and released Mualani, who is even more broken than Neuvilette.

One of my favorite, if not a bit more niche use for Furina, is a full archon team, currently consisting of Raiden, Nahida, Furina, and Zhongli. What I like about that team is simply how easy it is to play, cuz I can just use the skill of each character once, and their kits combined create a half decent auto battle team. Is it meta enough to work for the spiral abyss? Technically it is usable, but it certainly isn’t top meta, but what it is, is a fun team for exploration, cuz if some nuisance decides to attack you, and you don’t really feel like putting in the effort to beat it, you can just let the game do the battle for you. It’s also good for cheesing local legends.
This team is only possible in this way, because Furina’s skill works its magic automatically, and follows you around, and I don’t think people realize how that changes things in terms of how we can use hydro. Sure, we have Kokomi, who can work decently in an auto team like this, but it doesn’t follow you around, which makes things slightly more cumbersome, plus Furina is simply more focused in targeting, which in the current meta is way better than Kokomi’s aoe.
It's a sort of tradition of mine to wonder on just how bad the next elemental MC will be. Pyro Traveler is next, and the last will be Cryo. I guess now I understand that they had to make Hydro Traveler sooo bad in order to ensure he was not going to be as useful as Dendro Traveler.
I didn’t mind they released two good hydro on Fontaine I just wish they gave gave similar treatment to liyue with Zhongli being the only good geo and the other popular one is yelan who’s also hydro, pyro girl is coming soon and it’s almost confirmed she’s a much needed off field pyro supplier but she’s archon so a rare banner to pull

It might not really be a subject here, but Hydro now dominates another thing.
The new Hydro unit Mualani currently dominates the speed-running meta at all costs of investment and currently, her teams are absolutely gutted.
Xiangling only applies Pyro, basically does no damage since no Bennett and you build 250+ ER. Kazuha is a hit or miss since swirling hydro is clunky and has multiwave issues, and long animations, even Sucrose is better than him for Mualani. The Hydro partner is also a topic of discussion, you basically have Candace as a great hydro partner or Furina which is eh because she steals vapes.
Now imagine how strong she’ll be with a proper best in slot team.
I don't think that Furina is as strong as you think she is. Yes she is very strong but that comes at a price: you need a good healer who can heal the whole team. The best healer in the game is without a doubt bennet, and he does not work all that well with furina. It works in quickswap comps but hypercarry teams won't get furinas full buff.
Man spent 13:21 glazing over how good is hydro without mentioning Yelan. While that does show how good the element is ,I will not stand for this slander. To make up for it you now have to make a video about just Yelan.
It's funny how Xingqiu was everpresent during Genshin's whole run until Neuvillete and Furina came around Not even Yelan was able to get the 1 up over him until Furina released
I can’t take it anymore. I’m sick of Neuvillette. I try to play Childe. My Neuvillette deals more damage. I try to play Ayato, his charge attack deals more damage. I want to play Furina, her best team has Neuvillette. I want to play Xiangling, Fischl – they both want Neuvillette. He grabs me by the throat. I water for him. I drink for him. I give him Prototype Amber. He isn’t satisfied. I pull Sacrificial Jade. “I don’t need this much crit rate.” He tells me. “Give me more HP.” He grabs Furina and forces her to throw herself off enemies. “You just need to give me more fanfare stacks. I can deal more damage with Tome and C6.” I can’t pull for Tome or cons, I don’t have enough primogems. He grabs my credit card. It declines. “Guess this is time for the Oratrice Mechanique D’Analyse Cardinal” He grabs the Oratrice Mechanique D’Analyse Cardinal. He says “Its Oratrice time.” There is no hint of hydro in his eyes. Nothing but pure, on field hydro hose damage. What a cruel world.
I do fully believe that the only reason hydro became as promident as it did was because they didn't want Bennett to be the end all be all support
I think it was Ayato who really started the trend of scaling off everything but atk and as hydro was the easiest to excuse them working with hp given that hydro was the "support" and "healing" element it worked
This got even more promident with dendro having a reaction with hydro and as neither used atk they were perfect to not have Bennett
Now with Fontain they did have a lot lf hydro characters but the few characters they weren't hydro immediately latched onto Bennett i think proves that hydro really only grew as it did just to avoid him and they did for nearly 2 years
Even without Neuvillette, a monohydro team with Kokomi, Furina, Yelan and Kazuha is crazy and one of my strongest team, it's ridiculous ! No wonder why Hydro is the most expansive element with the most 5 star characters in proportion.
Hydro is so op that cryo became a dead element simply because hydro left it and it cant have any use of it these days
Man, neuvillette is the best DPS Yelan the best off field Xinqiu best applicator Kokomi best healer Nilou best reaction trigger ( dendro related ) And the hydro archon herself furina cant just move out without taking all the aspects of the other hydro characters. I truly do regret not playing genshin when it first came out, back when no one knew what they were doing.

Someone at Hoyo smoke cracked again and created Mualani because Hydro doesn't have a One Shot Nuker besides Tartaglia Hyper.
