So, the 5.0 livestream is finally over, and we now have official confirmation about all the rewards we’ll be getting in version 5.0. There have been some major changes since the last time we discussed it, and the rewards have increased significantly. So, let’s take a look at all the rewards we’ll be getting in the next patch.

Starting with the Anniversary rewards. Remember what I told you about the anniversary rewards? Like, don’t expect anything, and definitely not a free 5-star character? Well, I was wrong. As announced by Hoyoverse, we will be able to select a 5-star character from the standard banner of our choice in the next update. There are a total of 7 standard characters, and you can pick any one of them. So, if you don’t have any standard banner character, you’ll get them in the next patch for free. If you ask me, I’m going to choose Diluc since he’s my favorite character, and I want to C6 him, but let me know who you’ll pick in the comments.

Anyway, apart from the free 5-star, we will get a 7-day login event, where we will be able to claim 10 intertwined fates for logging in daily. And that’s not itβ€”Hoyoverse will also send us 1600 primogems and a free gadget via our in-game mail. This mail will be divided into 4 parts, so you won’t get all the rewards at once. The Genesis Crystal shop will also reset during 5.0, so we will be able to get the double bonus again in 5.0. The 4th anniversary rewards are looking really good, so I don’t think there will be any drama or controversy this time around, and we can thank Wuthering Waves for that.

Moving on to the other rewards. As soon as the 5.0 update is out and you log in to the game, you will receive Kachina for free, without doing anything, so that’s one more free character for you. Other than her, we will also get Bennett for free during a Quest in 5.0, so there’s another free 4-star character. You think that’s all? Well, there’s more. We will also get a free 4-star weapon and 1,000 primogems during the main event of 5.0, which is called Traces of Artistry.

We can also get 3 Natlan craftable weapons and 100 primogems for free from the latest web events called Blaze to Natlan and Off We Go to the Nation of Pyro. I can’t find the free weapon web event on the Hoyolab app right now, so I guess it hasn’t started yet, but I’ll update you guys once it has.

Now, moving on to the primogem count: the primogem count has certainly increased, as they are giving us more primogems for completing the Archon quest and doing exploration, etc. So, let’s take a look at that as well. From permanent content, like the daily commissions, Spiral Abyss, Imaginarium Theatre, Paimon shop, etc., you can get around 6,160 primogems and 10 Acquaint Fates.

From the events and from exploration in 5.0, you can get around 7,915 primogems, and that includes doing Archon quest, story quests, world quests, new offering system, unlocking chests, waypoints, and the Statue of the Seven, etc. From things like server maintenance, Hoyolab daily check-in, web events, character trials, and redeem codes, etc., you can get around 900 primogems. You can also get 300 primogems from the version 5.1 special program codes.

Now, if we add these rewards, we will get around 18,775 primogems or 117 wishes, a free 5-star character, 2 free 4-star characters (Bennett and Kachina), four free 4-star weapons, and 10 Acquaint Fates. Now that’s what we call a generous patch, and you’re guaranteed to get at least two 5-star characters.

Bro I don't think WuWa has anything to do with Genshin updates like genuinely I think it's HSR and ZZZ now that's upping the competition and making it so that they have to keep up with the amazing updates we get in those games I mean ZZZ's 1.1 is such a massive W…. now compare all that to WuWa…More than half my friends have left WuWa and the other half are saying it's boring as fk…!!!!

    I would have considered WuWa as a competition if they would have made money like Genshin or HSR or ZZZ but they didn't… So I think funnily enough Hoyo are creating their own competition LOL🀣🀣

  13. I don't know what project Hoyo banished Caui to the US to oversee but thank Celestia that they did. They've steadily been churning out updates and being more generous, and active with players, from the day he left.

    Exact repeat of Caui leaving HI3- go from stingy and not many improvements to complete 180.

  15. So I don't have dehya or tighmari among the standard characters. I do have neuvillette and dehya works well with him but I also have a feeling tighnari is better. I already have Al haitham for my dendro dps though

So for players that have been playing the game since release like me all u getting is a bunch of primos that they give every major archon expansion 3 4stars weapon and 1 new 4 star character since majority of old players already have all standard banner characters and C6 bennet πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ nothing really new honestly

  24. So it sounds like the anniversary rewards is the same old 20 pulls but this time they let you choose from shitty 5 stars that aren’t even being used just so people will stop complaining

  26. I know everyone is saying Wuwa did this, and it's true competition is always good. But tbh, since Star Rail & ZZZ is from Hoyoverse itself have way more generous rewards and quality of life updates, it was probably time for them to catch up logevity wise.

  27. I'm a "new player" I don't know exactly Who choose at the Moment my DPS are Navia. No one more, I'm saving to get the Riden when she Will get her banner in the second fase of the 5.0 I thought that jinn would be a good character to improve my account. What do u guys think?

  33. I am glad you admit you are wrong, not many people do. Like for example, you are wrong again talking about wutang clan waves having anything to do with the changes, when Honkai Star Rail was doing all this since day one, way before that copycat garbage even existed.
