If they really want to make burning viable, they should just buff burning.

What is the point of an attack that only hits one target? Then you massively restrict the type of team you can build by not actually buffing the burning effect itself? She's going to be even more niche than Nilou. I made the mistake of pulling Xianyun, who was a complete letdown. I'm definitely not making this mistake of pulling Emilie. Hoyo really wants me to play WuWa don't they?

I liked going with Emilie, Dehya, Furina and Baizhu in the abyss. It was the first time I was able to finish the abyss using my c0 Dehya, (although obviously the actual dmg was coming from Emilie and Furina). Her talents are still lvl 6 btw and using double 2pc 18% atk, so I'm prety excited to see how far she'll go from here

I love characters like Emilie they oppen more possibilities in team building because of their flexibility
I'm one of the folk that does not favour her design, but this guide really showed me she'd be amazing for my Arle and Nahida… Maybe I'll pull! Her weapon is absolutely gorgeous too (unfortunately)
What I basically got out of this:
She needs burning but burning doesn't need her coz in terms of what she does for burning, its like navia where navia does something with crystalize but nothing has changed at all with crystalize as a mechanic.
I'm still in a dilemma between pulling Emilie or not.
I want Emilie (I am guaranteed) but her kit needs Burning (I can use her in Burgeon teams) and I prefer Aggravate or Quickbloom for Dendro reactions.
But if I will really get her, I think I'll use her with C6 Bennett, Furina, and Jean (I don't have Xianyun) or Zhongli

A random team I tried and surprisingly worked was Zhongli(shielder), Eula(Built for Pyro Dmg), Emilie, and C6 Benny, and it is a team that does surprisingly good, with Eula hitting some pretty good Pyro infused NA, and mixing in some of her skill to do some (surprisingly good) melt dmg
