Why Cyno in the list? Cyno needs Baizhu not to switch out his burst can't continue like Noelle and he's 5* Razor vibe playstyle. Althaimthan is Childe too much cooldown play infusion, Ayaka and Ganyu are not list this video. Ayaka can use ATK sword or Harbringer of Dawn the higher Crit Damage than Misplitter Reforget without elemental damage bonus, Ganyu flex Bow playstyle.

Nilou more like Albedo cheap scaling but with Reaction. essentially Nilou one playstyle of Bloom specialist not Hydro Flex like Freeze Melt or Electro Charge never played be her sword playstyle.

Always fun to watch your videos! Realistically I think this entire list should just be 1. Neuvilette and then honorable mentions for the rest of the video but that's not as good content
I think this list could've stood to put a bit more emphasis on F2P. While there are tons of F2P accounts with lots of characters at this point, I think that it's a little bit disingenuous to rank characters that rely on Nahida, Yelan, Furina, or Kazuha so highly. Sure, they're incredibly valuable teammates that a lot of people pull for – but I think that not needing any 5 star teammates should outrank that. Hu Tao and Alhaitham, for example, REALLY suffer without their proper 5 star supports imo.
In short, Navia should be a lot higher since she can easily be run with ENTIRELY free characters.
You don't need any character just have xiangling 😑

After watching this, I think I'm gonna add my version here as an f2p myself (welkin only on main acc at around 3.5 to 4.0, then back to spend 0 money again, full f2p on 2nd acc)
1. Neuvillette
Got him on main acc. No change here, he's a beast. And I already c1r1 him while still being an f2p too so yeah. Still think I got myself a cheat code from his previous c0r0 self.
2. Arlecchino
Have her on 2nd acc and pretty crack even without elemental reaction. Sure she can't be healed by others can be a problem, but with shielder and getting use to her, you're gonna be okay
3. Alhaitham
On main acc, he's a pretty nuts DPS ngl. But still very reaction reliant compared to previous 2. And without quicken aura, means at least 1 electro teammate, his dmg fall off pretty big. Can be good with Nilou team if you use full em Deepwood on him and full em hydro unit but might as well use on field Nahida for that
4. Hu Tao
My 2nd acc OG pyro DPS. Although if I'm gonna be honest, I didn't use her that much until I got her c1r1 on her and yelan's rerun (see the pattern? F2P can get 5 star cons and weapons too if they want to). A little bit harder to use than Cappuccino but her DMG is still pretty crazy.
5. Raiden Shogun a.k.a. Ei-chan
Have her on both accounts (c0 on both) and sometimes switch her build between Emblem and full em. And I gotta say she's perfectly fine at c0 as main DPS. And the best of all? Some of her best team only requires 4 stars (basically national just change Xingqiu to chevreuse for overload team)
6. Navia
I don't have her yet, I know. But lemme just say this. A character that deals 100k with ease on her TRIAL is by no means a weak character. We all know how abysmal trial character's builds are and yet she still does that much.
7. Xiao
This one is definitely a bias on my end since I have him on 2nd acc and his build is pretty crack. (Little flex here :3 crit ratio 72:193 and 2.945 atk weapon calamity queller) For a 1.X character, his dmg is still pretty high and his 1.X teammates is still viable for him. Still waiting for Xianyun rerun to give my boi his best team. (That and 2 more Faruzan cons)
8. Keqing/Clorinde
I don't have Clorinde but I have keqing on both accounts, and imo, they serve the same role as Fischl driver. I'm a bit biased towards Keqing more because one of my favorite team is her f2p aggravate team (keqing-fischl-yaoyao-DMC) and this team synergies very well. I can imagine putting clorinde in keqing's place will bring the same results.
9. Gaming
Yup, 4 star DPS here. But you know what, his performance can beat even some 5 stars DPS. With Furina Benny and Mona he can reach 100k skill/plunge with ease. And this was before his C6 and still on lvl 80/80. One can only imagine how much he'll do once Mona is replaced by Xianyun, getting crowned on his skill at the very least and maxing his cons
10. Razor
Okay, last one is gonna be our wolf boi. I know I know he's a physical DPS and all that. But what if you decide to not play him as physical? His burst where he summons his wolf dad with him is his strength. C6 Benny + Razor, and you get full 4 star Chevy overload (last with Fischl). Full EM Razor, you can play hyperbloom with him as carry (a great damn one too since he will get Nahida's boost from her dome as well). Full EM Razor and C6 Benny? Thundering Furry. Niche for sure, not to Nilou's level of niche but damn he's a great niche at that.
Why I didn't add Nilou here? Because I really can't think of her as a DPS, more like reaction support. And honestly, I have her and use her team a lot and the one doing the role of DPS is Full Em KOKOMI. (If I add Nilou here, I probably put her on no. 6)

Ayaka should be in his place.

If Chlorinde is here, I’d add Keqing because its basically the same thing
I’d add Ayaka or Ganyu for any spot.
Neuvillete is just insane, literally using a 1.0 4 star weapon and clears content in the most brain dead manner, literally having him in this abyss is a win. I’d personally put Arle above Alhaitham because her raw damage potential is insane. She has slight grouping and could easily self sustain, doesn’t have ER issues and has a much more smoother rotation than Alhaitham.
I personally would like to put Alhaitham lower than Arlecchino considering Alhaitham is more reliant on reaction and energy, and thus stricter interm of team building.
I think the best value for F2P are those that can and do work in as many team as possible and able to maintain their kit value even under less ideal situation such as messing up combos.
Both Arlecc and Alhaitham sure does fit into this definition of mine, but being a dendro mean there has to be atleast another Hydro and/or Electro, thus limiting the other option out, not to mention no VV shred too.
Why is aloy not here. She is legit the best normal attacking cyro bow character.

I think Chlorinde and Navia's positions should be switched because of the following:
a. Navia is by far the best F2P Geo DPSes bar none, especially compared to Itto. Chlorinde, meanwhile, has numerous other forms of competition in the form of Raiden, Keqing, Yae and maybe Cyno but that one is more arguable. Even if Chlorinde out dpses most of her competition, her field is so saturated that she doesn't feel like a beneficial F2P pull
b. Navia takes very little effort to play and be beneficial. She doesn't need any specific team comps to work out. Chlorinde needs to move around her timing restrictions to make her teams feel comfortable.
c. While Geo is in a bad position right now, Navia's damage makes it so that she's the best pick when going against any geo shields or geo vulnerable enemies. Whereas you still have numerous ways to go around electro vulnerable enemies beyond just using Chlorinde.
d. Navia has a bigger gun
Tbh I still think Alhaitham is the the most f2p option in the current dps, Neuvillette is greater as dps check but the absolute f2p team for Alhaitham (him with three four stars and weapons) is still the best.. Alhaitham xing dendro traveler and kuki are way too good to be f2p.
Neuvillete damage falls from kazuha to sucrose, and his interruption is problem if you don't have strong shielder.
THX for video. Consider make another video but characters on dolphin or dedicated f2p level, with best c1/c2 and/or weapon.

Absolutely great list imagine arguing with a theory crafter i would the top 5 list is perfect but 6-10 can be change. 1 thing why lyney wasn't even on the list u ranked hutao but she also have the same problem way to vulnerable why not lyney tho he's always underrated (same for wanderer)

Swap out wrio for lyney and reorder the entire list and it’s decent (btw although Nilou isn’t technically a dps you have to build around her just like a dps with specific supports that overall takes about as much investment as a dps so she can be counted on her)
I recommend Ayato big time.
Even at F2P, it is very reasonable to get 800 pulls at the first year(assume you time invest), so C1 on some character is not that hard.
For example, I am F2P, started on 3.4, AR59, and have C3 Furina.
As a Cyno Main, I agree. It takes so much more investment for him, including his stellar team to perform great and sadly Raiden will still performing the same or maybe even slightly better with his same stellar team with less investment, plus the lack of f2p polearms. Im just glad I havr winged jade spear.
wrio, navia, clorinde and nilou above lyney is really crazy. like, just think about that fact and look at the numbers and this whole list stops making sense.

well the list only has two tiers 1 neuv at the top and 2 all other carries are tied for second place within build difference.
Some genshin players think they know more about genshin characters that they don’t even own, than a theorycrafter whose entire job is to do research/calcs about characters.

for f2ps quickswap teams like double hydro hyperbloom and electro charged stuff are often as good if not bette rthan the top dpses
